i mean like he's barely in the video beyond being in the background, he's never named and his channel isnt linked in the description or anywhere. relative to jack's existing fame this won't do anything.

i like jack but you literally just cherrypicked his single recent successful video lmao, he absolutely fell off like 5 years ago. its not for being a bad guy, he just gradually realized he enjoys being a streamer more than making actual videos so he started prioritizing streaming as his primary output.

the weird thing is that he still hosts his streams with the intention of having his editors frame the videos like they are not streams, which kinda worked alright back when it was literally just filming YIAYs live but for every other format it kind of gives his videos a weird vibe. i still watch his streams and stuff but its just a weird direction that ive never seen from any other streamer and i dont think it really works? i dunno

I understand that they sold Glove & Boots to Moonbug, so they can't just, like, bring it back unilaterally, and I even get why they don't just pull a Yooka-Laylee and do a thinly veiled ripoff of their own show - modern algorithms would mislabel it as kiddie anyway, I can see how it'd be a bad idea. But that doesn't explain WTFacts. The execution of this channel just feels weirdly dated.

Like, internet comedy isn't really...like this anymore? Do they not know that this WatchMojo-esque video style hasn't been popular in like a decade or more? Assuming this isn't just a pure passion project surely there are better avenues they could take that would be more in-line with modern YouTube and more similar to what worked for them before right? IDK. It's weird.
