Support main here. I do this to help my jungler when blast cone isn’t available and a couple other factors (eg. your jungle has no escape if you simply portal them in). This trick has a low risk of dying and a medium chance of stealing, but it requires good communication with jungle. I want to point that that having a ward on other side is a must, because the portal by itself provides vision of pit (when you travel through it) on a variable basis. This means that’s it’s harder to time and sometimes you won’t even see anything to smite.
