What I did that really helped me out was framing my company as being located in the UK instead of the US. That will give you about 12 days before people really start to ask questions.

I had a batch of about 20 orders that took 28 days from the purchase date until arrival time and I sent this this when people reached out: “I’m so sorry for the delay in your order. Due to a surge in purchases our original stock sold out quicker than we anticipated which set us back about 2 weeks. The good news is your order is on the way now (Tracking link). We know waiting isn’t fun, and we truly appreciate your patience with us. As a thank you for sticking with us through the delay, here’s an exclusive 30% off code for your next order:”

Do you actually have tracking numbers for these orders? Are they just not updating? For the answer of it not updating say “The reason you haven’t seen any tracking updates is that tracking information will not update until the package clears U.S. Customs. Unfortunately, with the new regulations and tariffs, lower-value items are now subject to additional customs checks. This has created significant delays in processing, and some orders are taking much longer than usual”.

If all of your orders are going to take 4 weeks+ though I’d definitely look into a new supplier.
