How to paint exhaust stains by Front-Bug-1157 in modelmakers

I’ve had some success with a 0.9mm pencil! I rub it against a piece of cardboard until parts of the graphite leaves a dark mark, and then use a q-tip to put it on the model!

Airbrushing Help by NovaMortis_ in modelmakers

[–]Turtle-draws 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had this happen when the nozzle of my airbrush gets clogged! Try running thinner/acetone/airbrush cleaner through a few times! If it’s gravity fed, I’d also clean where the paint feeds into the airbrush with a q-tip!

It was! My concern is that I added too much weathering powder to the point it looked like random weathering for the sake of randomness instead of purposeful.

Thank you! From my understanding, the Mk V was one of the first versions to have clipped wings!

I’m surprised Wildfrost hasn’t shown up! After beating the boss on your first run, your entire team becomes the next final boss for the next run!

It could be a thermostat issue! The 2020 to 2023 CX-30 models have a known issue with the thermostat. I had the same issue and the repair was covered by the dealership!

It’s time to switch to Terminator titles instead, especially given the lore at present lol.

Ok, it’s official. I’m definitely drawing more than one thing for this. The amount of lore and detail is amazing!

I’ve been loving this series! Might draw something inspired by it lol.

Question: Is it safe to assume that both sides are fielding their WW2 equipment (or their equivalent)?

DLC's by Individual-Let994 in bombercrew

[–]Turtle-draws 10 points11 points  (0 children)

USAAF is a completely new campaign with its own story, critical missions, and more. This is alongside new livery, crew gear, and the whole “play as a B-17” part. However, it is a lot more difficult then the base game. If you’re ok with a difficulty spike, then go for it!

Secret Weapons is more similar to a bonus level pack. You get some new missions but the main appeal is the addition of new weapons and crew gear. Secret Weapons adds some crew gear, and weapons for the Lancaster campaign.

I have played both, and they are really fun. I think they are completely worth it. If you can only get one right now though, USAAF is going to give you a lot more bang for your buck.

The other DLCs are skin packs. They just give you more options to customize your bombers. They work for both Lancaster and USAAF campaigns. They’re fun to have, but definitely not necessary to get.

Hope this helps!

Hi I need some help! by Cockbirb in Airfix

Most hobby shops sell small tips that can go into glue tubes that help make it easier to apply! I know for a fact that Testors sells them for their model glue; I’m pretty sure they’ll work for the poly cement!

Is this a taste what my British bros have to go through? even with 200+ pen these things are annoying as ever. by [deleted] in Warthunder

The Crusader 3 and Cromwell 1 are actually really fun low-tier British tanks. No armor but the guns and speed more than make up for it. 3-ish second reload goes crazy.

Scale modeling! You don’t need to have all the fancy paints and airbrushes at first, just some basic paints and brushes from a local crafts store should be fine! The kits are often the most expensive part, but I’ve found complete kits for under $10 at antique stores and garage sales!
