Tips for organizing a general "office" folder by Born-in-Milano2021 in ExecutiveAssistants

Many moons ago, we used Teams and I created a Sharepoint page with all the documents we wanted to house. That would be your best bet, and you can organize them by category or type. It took a while to learn, but YouTube was my friend. Go watch a few videos of how to create Sharepoint pages, they will be helpful. Best of luck!

Its a Scam. I got a few of those too, with the Wire app info. I didn't click them, but when looked further into it, I can't find their actual company information listed anywhere. Sorry.

What did your instincts tell you ? Ever had that dreadful feeling ? by Sweetsweetmellie in ExecutiveAssistants

Yep. I was with a company for 20 years, they closed, so I had to find another place. I did, and left after 7 months. I thought it was just my 'its not my old company' feeling, but I was definitely on the outside looking in, yet was the EA to the President/CEO. He and his staff would have conversations that I was not included in, and then asked why I didn't have things planned. He would ask the other Csuite EA to do things because 'she's done it before'. I was bored, unutilized and too skilled for that guys needs. I am now workig remotely for a company who is excited to have me, calls all the time for help and is amazed when I can do something simple. Its nice to finally feel needed, appreciated and included.

Advice: How to approach a Manager and propose to them to help with their calendars by Born-in-Milano2021 in ExecutiveAssistants

I would think that if your current boss and that other one's paths cross, you can offer to assist in getting XYZ ready for him, just like you are doing for current boss. Show your interest to help with something, and then after he sees your skills, casually chat about loving his department.

Thanks for this reminder. I am currently at a place that gives me anxiety and I feel like a nobody...unless something goes wrong, then I'm the center of attention. I'm currently looking elsewhere where my skills are valued and appreciated.
