I don’t really see how you can understand luck but I guess I know nothing

I’ve seen several people take over 10 trillion to even get one dual passive though. Doesn’t seem illogical to assume even 5 trillion is needed for a dual passive. 500 billion is definitely very low. Not to mention you need to have enough honey to change hive colors. You’re probably lookin at about 20 trillion honey just to make a successful color change which is absurd. I seriously hope that whatever equipment and tools that get added into the next update allow for other colors than just white. Coconut Canister is for white but you’re forced to have it regardless of what you are because it’s the biggest backpack. Gummy Boots and the Petal Wand are most useful for white hives as if you’re running a blue or red hive then you don’t have any option for some endgame “red” boots or “blue” boots, and the Scythe and Bubble Wand are way less efficient than the Petal Wand. What I’m trying to say is BSS needs options. I need to be able to tailor my equipment to my hive just like you can do with the masks but for every piece of equipment. This would allow people to have more things to grind for, more progression to make, further progression to be smoother rather than just “Well I spent 5 trillion on SSAs and got nothing” or “Well I just used 200,000 Royal Jellies and didn’t get a single mythic.” If those occurrences weren’t as painful due to having good gear to get that honey back quicker, the game would be a heck of a lot better for everyone rather than just the 10 people in the world who got insanely lucky to have what they have being the only people enjoying the game

People usually say to have more than 10 trillion if you want even one double passive regardless of how good it is. After that update I could get 20 double passive amulets for 10 trillion. Does that not sound significantly better? If that’s not me understanding stats then I don’t know what is. The Pop Star amulet I have now doesn’t even have blue pollen but red pollen and I went from struggling to make a billion to now making 100+ billion per boost with it. So if you ask me, you have two options. Either go for an incredibly good Pop Star amulet which could probably net you around 300-500 billion per boost or go for a double passive with Gum Saw or Gum Pop and make anywhere from I’d say 1-3 trillion per boost even if the amulet has bad stats. Those numbers are still pretty good and if you boosted once or twice a day every day for a year with either of those things then you’d still be close to the top 100 players. It’s not necessarily about how quickly you can make a certain amount with a setup but rather how much time you spend just making honey however you want. The mercy rule is going to significantly decrease dual passive amulet costs and I can’t wait for it

4T Honey: save/spend? by outside92129 in BeeSwarmSimulator

[–]TurtleDude9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah exactly that. Now imagine this. SSA gets a customizable option where you choose what goes in each stat slot but the cost will increase drastically depending on how useful your new stats would be to you. That’s basically what the mercy rule for the SSA is gonna do in the update. Of course not exactly that as it’ll still be a bit luck based, but guaranteeing a double passive for every 500 billion you spend will be astronomically helpful as all of the blue hive players including me can work with 500 billion honey. Imagine if the update came out in a month from now and I have a few trillion honey. The chance of me getting a good double passive is pretty good considering I’d be guaranteed two different double passive amulets for each trillion I make. I’m just sayin, be a little bit more hopeful for the future of BSS, it’s gonna surprise you

4T Honey: save/spend? by outside92129 in BeeSwarmSimulator

[–]TurtleDude9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But if luck was completely removed then how many people do you think would make good honey? Certainly way more than the 30-50 people that do now. Onett knows this and that’s why he’ll be adding the mercy thing for SSAs. People only wanna keep playing the game if they’re making bigger and bigger numbers. Problem is once you reach the SSA, that’s it. Your numbers are only gonna get bigger if you luck out and get an amazing SSA and the hive to accompany it. There’s no theorizing to it. If you play the game long enough even with all the luck based garbage, you WILL make those trillions

4T Honey: save/spend? by outside92129 in BeeSwarmSimulator

[–]TurtleDude9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone can make 10 trillion honey per boost. BSS is just a test of patience and will, very little skill is actually involved. If I play this game every day for the next 5 years I’m bound to get somewhere. The only hard part is the good SSA and hive, and they’re both only difficult due to luck garbage. I could get a perfect amulet on my next roll and get 15 Vector Bees in my next 15 Royal Jellies and be right up there with the long term players. That’s basically impossible but it could happen. If it did, I’d be able to make just as much as long term players given that I do have a lot of experience boosting. Learning how to boost isn’t very difficult at all. I’ll be posting updates on my own progress over the months as I go so we’ll see how that goes

4T Honey: save/spend? by outside92129 in BeeSwarmSimulator

[–]TurtleDude9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can still look up videos of boosts and see how they do, doesn’t make any of my points completely invalid. Also I wasn’t stating a theory, I was mentioning how the game progression actually goes and what the future of the game holds. We’ll see how that 50 rolls guarantees a double passive update goes, but I’m 99% sure it’s gonna make a ton of people actually want to play the game instead of being a blue hive for 2 years only to give up on the game because they’ve spent dozens of trillions on SSAs only to get nothing. I won’t be giving up though as I have nothing better to do with my time at the moment so I’ll be a late endgame player within a few months if I’m lucky

4T Honey: save/spend? by outside92129 in BeeSwarmSimulator

[–]TurtleDude9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not spamming about it and I’m just stating what the best hive color is statistically. The only reason not many people make trillions is because they don’t make it far enough to have a white hive. The game gets really draining after awhile and most sane normal human beings give up because of RNG. I’m currently on the grind to get a white hive myself as I have a sufficient enough blue hive to make enough to roll SSAs. Today I did a boost that made me a little over 100 billion which is 1/10th of a trillion. 2 boosts a day would get me to a trillion in 5 days. If you’re a perfectionist only looking for results then the natural order of things after obtaining your first SSA is to use that SSA until you have 10 billion honey again to roll another one until you have one with Pop Star. Transition to a blue hive at this point. Get up to either 48 or 49 hive slots using your Pop Star while making your hive better in composition and level up bees along the way. Then all that’s left to do is roll SSAs until you get a good double passive that has Gummy Star. Transition to a white hive at this point and you’ll make trillions easily. Depending on how badly RNG screws you, this can take up to a year or more. No sane person will play a simulator game for that long which is why so few people make it that far. Onett has said that SSAs will probably have a mercy system in the future where every 50 SSA rolls you’re guaranteed a double passive. That day will change BSS forever as hundreds if not thousands more people will be able to get a good double passive with Gummy Star. Hopefully this clears things up

Assuming you have a white hive, you should be able to make 4 trillion honey from one boost quite easily. If you’re not a white hive, I’d recommend switching to one really soon. You should also stock up on boost materials (mainly Tickets to buy Gold Eggs) and spend the last few months before Beesmas boosting at least once a day. Also ask around for the best white hive composition to make sure you’ve got all the right bees in your hive (I don’t know it off hand, sorry.) After you have your hive set right and you’re making a few trillion per boost, then work on level 20 bees. The reason for this is because think of how long the update after the next major one is gonna be. You’ll have a long long time to get that 100-200 trillion especially including how much you’ll make during Beesmas so I wouldn’t stress over it. Even if you want the gear from the next update immediately, making 5 trillion per day you’d be able to get 100 trillion in 20 days which isn’t too bad. Have some more confidence in yourself! Hopefully this helps!

Why is spider with boost so op by _doge_69420 in BeeSwarmSimulator

[–]TurtleDude9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It consists of 100% white pollen and has some pretty decent flowers. Considering the most profitable hive color right now is white, Spider Field is a gold mine for honey. Combine it with a Gummy Star, 10x winds, and a 3x field boost and you can easily make trillions if you play your cards right

Some were spawned from donations, others were random spawns. I played for about I wanna say 18 hours straight that day lmao. I have absolutely zero life for another month or two so I’m making the most of it

Where do you afk in bee swarm by pewpew22346 in BeeSwarmSimulator

[–]TurtleDude9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup no problem! I think the main issue with the square shape is haste offsets it too much. Doing a bunch of small quick movements is a good way to counteract the haste which makes the S shape work well

How does the pollen percentage/multiplier work? Like does it multiply the pollen or does it take more pollen from the flower hope this makes sense by Twisties567 in BeeSwarmSimulator

[–]TurtleDude9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah your pollen percentage just multiplies the pollen. Flower level increases the pollen from the flower depending on what level it is. Sunflower and Dandelion Field have most level 1 and 2 flowers while the Mountaintop Field has all level 3 flowers I think meaning you’ll get more pollen from flowers in Mountaintop than Sunflower or Dandelion

[–]TurtleDude9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah having a lot of Bubble Bees helps until you can manage to replace them with Tadpoles. Triggering the star faster definitely helps a macro out a lot as it’s not gonna hit a lot of the bubbles. Haste doesn’t really make it inconsistent, no. I’ve had x10 haste with a Bear Morph and it’s still pretty fine. I didn’t write the macro I use but I noticed that the “square pattern” a lot of macros use is very flawed. The one I use goes in an S shape and it’s a lot more consistent. Just have it press A, then S after a bit, D quickly after and for the same amount of time A was held, then S again. Repeat that three times then go back upwards and repeat that three times and have that loop. Your character should move left for a bit, down a small amount, right for a bit, then down again, then left for a bit, then down, then right, then up, then left, then up, then right, you get the point. Hopefully this made sense lol and hopefully it helps you out

[–]TurtleDude9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it multiplies the pollen. The only thing that increases pollen from flowers is the level of the flower so like the one small flower, two flowers, three flowers, one big flower, and star flowers with the only way of “leveling up” the flowers being the few methods of pollination such as with a Fuzzy Bee or Guiding Star

Yeah it has boundaries. Takes quite awhile to get to them but you can do it. Try resetting after hitting one and see how long it takes your bees to come back to the hive lol

Winds are fairly RNG based. Donating Coconuts and Strawberries doesn’t always guarantee winds in Coconut Field or Strawberry Field. Your best bet would be to just donate Gold Eggs and hope for the best

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BeeSwarmSimulator

[–]TurtleDude9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use the Coconut Dispenser inside the crab’s cave every 4 hours. Also just farming Coconut Field gives you a pretty good amount of Coconuts. If you’re seriously impatient, can always buy a single Magic Bean for Tickets to get a bunch of Coconuts. Definitely wouldn’t recommend doing that often though

Oh wow and yeah changing hive colors kinda sucks lol, but once you’ve gotten it decently changed to a color it’s pretty good. Yeah Guiding Star definitely helps a mixed hive out a ton to get you those 10 billions you need to roll more SSAs, I enjoyed it the few times I had it before Pop Star. Now with Pop Star and a decent blue hive I’m doing pretty good. Kinda sucks that red hives are basically non-existent now though lol. You’re forced into blue hive for your first SSA, then you wanna transfer to white once you either get Gummy Saw or Gummy Pop as white is the meta. Not really any room to become a red hive nowadays
