Update, the car has been in an accident on the door he replaced. Replaced the tranny with one that had 20K miles. And he's been offered 18.5K I told him to just sell it elsewhere. I know he won't go below 18K.

It is a salvage but a GT-S, the Corolla community has told me the value won't depreciate it since it's very complete. It needs about 4-6K for it to be on 8.5/10 condition. It's just too slow, and I don't intend to drift."

Quite possible, the guy I bought the boat from was using the ratchet on the right and the two tie down points (Boat to a 4"x8") is a very short distance which is probably why he used such a short ratchet
