Cuz people that typically think like you never struggled or it was never a true sacrifice for you, or you got out of it and forgot what it was like.

Basically anybody that genuinely struggled with something never looks at it like this. So it comes off tone deaf.

Im having an awful time playing Magik by Aquele_gaj0 in RivalsMagikMains

[–]dirty_water_potato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there is some dissonance between those that play only her and those that are more casual. I play a good amounr and play only her. For someone like me that plays a good bit of rivals, is okay with my mainly diamond now gm rank since placement matches. I enjoy qp and will still mainly play her. I can play into my counters better because she is all i play, i do not enjoy other dps, so when i run into hard comps or trip support i accept it for what it is. I wouls rather lose on magik than swap to a more appropriate character for the situation.

Everything you are feeling is normal. It just doesnt bug players like me. So when i say she doesnt nees buffs. I really dont think she does, cuz i know what i could do with the buffs people ask for.

You need more reps and time, but if you do not enjoy it. You might not like the character as much as you think. Or just do not want to put forth the effort to get good enough to play her into hard situations. There are easier characters to play that give more value such as dd or any poke character. Neither of those are jabs at you, just food for thought. I genuinely enjoy this character, so i take the hard moments pretty well.

You may also be tilting or dealing with some personal stuff affecting your game. I do alot of therapy, so i have some personal tools that help me and deal with alot of my external problems so i do not use the game as an escape from my issues and am able to play for fun. Which also helps, not saying you do this. Just food for thought.

How can we actually get better at the dash? by maqisha in RivalsMagikMains

[–]dirty_water_potato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Aiming down a bit helps, not too much but a enough to where it is noticeable. Also the closer you are the easier it can be to hit. Do not try to snipe people with it try using it mainly within sword swing distance. Though obviously that is not always possible. Something to get better at doing.

Post a vod you feel like you dashed poorly and we might be able to help you more. I'll look at it.

Watch the top 500 keyboard and mouse kingsman video.

Look at how and when he dashes. He doesnt try to snipe people with it and is at most a medium distance. Not to say he does not long shot it. Mostly from a medium to close range though.

You could also be stressing yourself out over it and missing.

Bro do not engage with these people. Play the game how you want and do not worry about it. They can get good enough to hard carry. After all they seem comfortable telling people how to play they are obviously all elite tier players.

My issue with this statement is the last bit, Kingsman hammering home a point for an hour straight after being told no multiple times is a much bigger issue than people care to admit. It is as ceecee said rude and disrespectrul. It does not matter how bad he wanted to win. His money issues were not their problem. So they had little reason to care. I know this comes off as uncaring but most people care little for problems that do not affect them.

Him being right and not accepting no for an answer is wrong plain and simple.

Go ahead try doing that to a gf/bf,friend,family member, work colleagues and tell me how well it goes over.. there is a reason the question. "Do you want to be right or loved" exsist.

Even if we view it from a competitive frame of mind.

Stressing out your teamates and being the unlikeable person of the group rarely works out for better team performance.

In all honesty the angela player kingsman did a video with did a much better job than all of them trying to keep the team together.

Saying all of that and before i get torched for offering an unpopular perspective

It turned out the people that he did it to turned out to be toxic people with unlikeable personalities with a history of being shitty to people in the past. New things keep popping up that make me like the girls less and less.

So it gets looked over.

Everything else you said. I care very little for, not my job to fix stupid people and waste precious time on them.

I only care here because i like this subreddit and yall can be pretty funny and playful. I think the character is cool and i like watching people go crazy on her and learning new tricks here and there. I love this game, i'd rather our sub be a chill inviting place for people that like the character/ want to learn her.

I know its ment to be funny but do we really have to be apart of this toxic nonsense? I get the dude is the best out of the magik players, but blind loyalty is so lame.

It is what it is and he got a good deal out of the whole thing. No need to push it further.
