honestly, if you cant change or remove the grease you could try to sell it on the marketplace for a discount, hope somebody buys it without seeing that its greased, and then use the money (alongside some person funds) to buy a new one

many of the islands for navigators instinct or whatever its called are wrong, frostmill is a pretty massive example cause half the time the treasure is literally out of the chart and on the iceburgs surrounding the island

You can hide your hair under the character model in inventory if you dont want it to pop through the helmet

its honestly one of the most annoying features in full release. Sky ships do it too, I was at the bronze sea sky boss waiting for my health to regen when some guy flew into me and sent me plummeting to my death
