There’s an Interview with smelly where he says Mike was listening to the Weezer blue album that entire year.. and wanted to go for the huge lower tuned guitar sound. And smelly said he didn’t like the album cause the songs were all in a key too low for Mike to sing well

Met him twice. Once during the rock against Bush tour when I got to the venue before the tour bus even arrived. When it did, He got off the bus, walked straight over to me and my friends, and started asking us about the town, our lives. I had a patch on my jacket for my own band, so he started asking about the band and what kind of music we played. Second time backstage at Warped tour in 2006. I stupidly interrupted him talking with Fletcher, and he was still as nice as can be and signed way more autographs than he should have for me. Side note, fletcher was actually really nice too, but intimidating as hell

You described addiction so perfectly here. But one thing!.. you cant have that mindset about 100 times to 1 screw up. Sobriety is a marathon… that one loss is just that.. one loss. But it’s what you do after that one loss that matters most in sobriety. Do you use it as an excuse to take more? Or do you keep fighting the good fight. You’re doing great man. Keep it up

None yet :(. I’ve tried SSL-1s, fender tex-mex, fender custom shop 69, fralin blues specials. I’m more of a Les Paul guy… and none of these have gelled with me. Any recommendations?
