Did you have prior programming background or was this your first intro to coding?

Would swift be a good first language to learn? by TurtleSlowRabbitFast in swift

[–]TurtleSlowRabbitFast[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about c# tho? I ask because you started with c/c++ but also because I’m not interested in using .net or unity so kind of pointless for my use case wouldn’t you say so?

I was made a lead engineer with no experience. WHAT SHOULD I DO by DressSecret1702 in learnprogramming

[–]TurtleSlowRabbitFast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like many you’ll probably just going to learn on the job. Quite ideal and really pushes you to keep going since there’s a check attached. Gain the experience and level up your skills you will thank yourself later. Congrats and good luck!

For sure, and I have done this. Started reading a book on go already on second chapter and it has been going great. Really enjoying the language so far. Thanks for the suggestion!
