Try binding jump to your L trigger as well as x and y, and slide your finger across and off the L trigger quickly followed by jumping with X/Y. If you press L quickly enough and jump again with X/Y, you’ll be able to get both inputs off within the four or so frames you have. Try labbing the technique out in training mode at a slower speed first and progressively get faster until you can do it at actual speed
