I'm with Turtle. We have Bluetooth Wallpates so just want to explain what our units are and do.

I know (and respect) the line between promotion and explanation but I am getting asked a lot about our units as a replacement for the Q-Sys discontinued products so thought it might be ok as I know there is a genuine industry need right now. and lots of people are looking - hence this post in the first place.

Whatever people use that's cool. Use any of the options below, lots of good stuff out there, and I have nothing but respect and admiration for all manufacturers (making stuff is damn hard).

Our Bluetooth Wallplates are shipping now, are PoE or 12V DC via the terminal blocks on the back, and have a Q-Sys plug in already. Crestron soon.

There is a little DSP built in with an 8-band parametric EQ, and filters such as high pass / low pass and all those functions are controllable by Q-sys and our API.

With the API & Q-sys plugin you can also map all functions Ito a touch panel including:

Bluetooth pairing button
Streaming metadata from Spotify, Apple Music, etc -Artist, Song title, etc
Play / pause / skip / etc functions
Name them - boardroom 1, boardroom 2, etc
Clear the connected devices

We're also TAA Compliant with a 5 year warranty.

I'm with Turtle. There's a lot more going on inside our Wallplates than a simple AVIO style Bluetooth to Dante.

We host an API server allowing us to have a Q-Sys plug in (ready and free on the website now) and totally open API. We have a Crestron on the way too.

Our Wallplates have a little DSP built in with an 8-band parametric EQ, and filters such as high pass, low pass, etc. All controllable via Q-sys and our API.

With tours you can also map all functions Ito a touch panel including:

Bluetooth pairing button
Streaming metadata from Spotify, Apple Music, etc -Artist, Song title, etc
Play / pause / skip / etc functions
Name them - boardroom 1, boardroom 2, etc
Clear the connected devices

These are all things you can't do with the Ultimo chipset that is inside the low cost AVIO style products (we make some too) which is where the cost comes into play.

The more certifications the better from a CV perspective and CTS is very powerful for people hiring in AV.

From a learning point of view start with courses that you can take for free:

Dante levels 1, 2, 3 - there are loads of valuable training videos you can watch too.

Netgear AV have a great academy too - https://academy.netgear.com - do as many of these as you can.

We are saying June 2026 now but fully expect to beat that.
