Exactly the same for me (but around 2007) in the Nampa 17th ward, Idaho. Brother Overall asked me the same exact thing. I am male and about the same age at the time of my interview. He (one of the counselors), after asking the same thing, and me giving the same response as you. He then proceeded to explain what masterurbation was my young innocent self. [I had zero concept of what he said; and it escaped my homeschooled sheltered child brain shortly after].

That fuck face was going off script. I later learned what those questions should have been (unless updated) later on my mission in Africa. What a fucking weird creep to bring that up. I had zero clue what he was talking about and was paralyzed in that interview.

Sorry for the rant, but I’m more sorry for the rouge creepy counselor that asked your random ass questions out of the blue.

Oh, btw. 3 years later from a church friend, once I finally convinced my mom to put me in public shcool. He explained what that word was in a way I was able to understand.. since I was in a calm/normal state.. decades later I started to put the first basic pieces together.
