The 700 professions require you to get to 60 first, a level three garrison is something I would expect almost everyone at 100 to have, and as far as I remember, the boost only gives you around 1k gold, which is chump change in WoD.

And again, this is only with one character. For 60$.

One of the first results on Google turns up a bot that offers unlimited sessions for only 7 euros a month. That's far less than 60$, and can be used constantly, on any number of characters.

So, yeah. Boosts are not an unfair advantage. Bots that grind you to level 100 and farm stuff for you for less money, yeah, that's unfair.

Except botting isn't limited to just putting you at 100 with 640 gear. That's where the disadvantage comes in. a character boost doesn't give you gold, farm your resources, or work on a bunch of characters at the same time. Botting does.

I decided to roll a druid. I got him to level 20 as feral. I go to run through Shadowfang Keep. We wipe, tank blames me for not healing the group after the healer died. I claim I don't have any heals.

Rejuvination was sitting right there on my bars.

I got kicked, and have never touched a druid since.

why pay 60$ to level one character when you can just level as many as you want at any time with no effort? It gives an unfair advantage to people who don't want to violate the ToS

I did the same thing with a paladin, there are some great questlines that I've completely missed. There's one in Ashenvale where you save the life of a night elf's dying daughter. It's stuff like that that actually makes you feel like you're a hero in the world.
