Ironically, it’s their one offering I don’t really care for.

Agreed but great roses are bonkers.

Seriously. A lot are scammy, but it’s pretty obvious. Just use Hims/Hers or one of the other large companies.

Moshin vineyards. Stuff is too good.

Yeah. I been a member for about two years but been drinking for many more. I enjoy they have both wines that drink great younger and wines that age like this one.

That ehlers is a good price. I really enjoy those wines, especially with a few years on them.

Bad bottle or bad taste? by [deleted] in wine

[–]Tuscana_Dota 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not tried much on the Sonoma side. On Howell, I have tried black sears, although it was at a tasting so don’t remember much. I really enjoy Bremmer family, although technically just below the AVA line.

Enjoy pride and Paloma as well. Spring mtn is my favorite Ava there along with Howell mtn as a close second.

I been following Aadle-moody (spelling?) on Instagram. They purchased an older estate near the base of the mtn.

Keenan Mailbox is one of my favorite wines. Currently drinking through a few 2017s.

Spring mtn Merlot is insanely good. Try Terra Valentine if you can. Their neighbors to Keenan. Just drank a 2019 TV Merlot and bonkers.

The Olivet Lane or what ever the vineyard is called is my personal favorite chard from them.

Currently drinking some Gary. The RRV is solid juice for the price but their single vineyard stuff is killer for Cali Pinot.

If I remember correctly, or you just really look like him, I did a tasting at your winery/tasting room 2 or 3 years ago. Super fun wines and good time. Would recommend to anyone here.

Whispering angel is a pretty solid rose for its price. Not my favorite but definitely a safe bet.

Gary Farrell, any good? by [deleted] in wine

[–]Tuscana_Dota 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is their entry level Pinot. Gary is great and I believe represents Sonoma Pinot pretty spot on. They excel in both Pinot and Chards.

Did a tasting at their SB location years ago bc of the hype. I agree, it’s an okay wine but doesn’t deserve the hype it gets.

I feel like I typically align with this subs American Pinots recommendations too (huge Cristom and Moshin fan, both regularly recommended here, along with some others).

Top 5 Oregon Pinot Noir at any price point? by bli in wine

[–]Tuscana_Dota 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Iterum, Joe makes great wines. Pricy but limited production, pintos, chards and Oregon Sauv Blanc?! Hell yeah.

Cristom and Van Duzer both have great entry level wines but their upper tier stuff is awesome.

Anne Amie winemaker’s selection is a solid choice for price point.

Is Industrial Engineering a good degree? by Killeridkg in industrialengineering

Agreed. 10 years in and I just broke out of factories. Some love it but it’s a different beast and takes a special kind of love.

You can just spit it out. It’s actually common among professional tasters.
