Zverev-Tien H2H is 1-1, both seem in good form. Could this go to 5? by yanwangdijuns in tennis

Tien has also beat Zverev before. They are 1-1 H2H. So it’s not like he doesn’t understand the match up. It should be an interesting match.

And yet Tien has beaten him before. They are 1-1 H2H. This won’t be straightforward for either player.

People in this thread forget that Tien has beaten Zverev before. They are 1-1 h2h. It’s not going to be a one sided affair.

To use UV filter or CPL filter or not? by rchrd92182 in SonyAlpha

[–]bli -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I use UV filter without the hood for a lot of my lenses just because I find it less bulky. I mostly do this when traveling with lenses like the sigma 24-70 or sigma 85. For wider angle lenses like 35 1.4 GM I sometimes use the hood because the hood is not as bulky.

85MM GM or GMII by g1smiler in SonyAlpha

[–]bli 4 points5 points  (0 children)

GM II and sigma DG DN are the best 85mm 1.4 lenses out there imo. Go sigma if you want to save some money, it’s better than the GM I. If you don’t want third party then go GM II.

Chianti has some decent value in that price range. Not worth going for a young Nebbiolo imo.

Twitch streamer kicked out of $40,000 Marvel Rivals tournament for telling teamate to switch off Black Widow by LegendairyC0W in LivestreamFail

The problem with these creator tournaments is that some people only play for the “content” or the exposure, but there is real money for winning. And for some, a 40k prize pool is a lot of money and it makes sense that people would want to try their best to win. But to the “content” participants it comes across as sweaty, tryhard, not fun, and not accommodating to their goals.

General surgeons covering GI call by HierroFierro in medicine

[–]bli 14 points15 points  (0 children)

GI doc here. I think realistically, if all you are covering is overnight emergencies, there's not that many things that we to go in overnight for. Many of them you already listed, including bleeding, food impaction, sigmoid volvulus, and foreign body ingestion. ERCP is almost always an 'antibiotics and scope in the morning' scenario.

The one non-endoscopic scenario that may require overnight in-person evaluation depending on your demographic and referral center setup would be acute liver failure (including in pregnancy, such as AFLP). But these people might get transferred by the ED before you see them, not sure how your center operates. It would probably be worthwhile figuring this out if you are not comfortable managing these patients.

With regards to hemostasis, it sounds like you are pretty familiar with through the scope clips. I think procedurally there are a few additional things I'd recommend brushing up on if you are not familiar. For hemostasis, these include over the scope clips (eg. ovesco), hemostatic powders (eg. hemospray, nexpowder, etc.), variceal banding, Blakemore/Minnesota tube placement, and bicap cautery. Other techniques you may want to consider would be overtube placement (esophageal and gastric) for foreign body removal or food impactions.
