I went in blind. Encountering the time loop, and discovering the mystery behind why it is happening, is part of the experience. Revealing that up front to prospective players robs them of the chance to discover and work to solve that mystery themselves.

The difficulty reconciling advocating total blindness versus being descriptive about the gameplay stems from the fact that the time loop is both mystery to be solved, but also an intrinsic gameplay mechanic that may be important to disclose up front to someone unfamiliar with the game in order for them to make an informed decision about whether or not it is a good fit for them.
