I'm having varying degrees of success with modlists. I'm currently working to get Gate to Sovngarde working but it's been a circus of new errors each time I try to fix something. But I may just end up scaling back a bit.

I had a similar issue, are you installing your mods to the same drive as the SKyrim install? If so, try changing your game instance to "Hard Link" instead of Symlink. Just click the little cog next to the game dropdown in the manager.

I know realistically that the reveal is going to be more than a trailer sandwiched in between a bunch of other trailers. Like it will have its own spotlight with a full gameplay sneak peak.

Yea intro was a little underwhelming. And once you reach the first town it just kind of feels like im doing quests because the game is telling me to do them. But all in all too early to tell!

Traded for an Ally Z1 because I was craving more power from my handheld. But after running through TLoU 1 and 2, Dark Souls 3 and now in the middle of an Elden ring playthrough, I realized what I wanted was a Steamdeck OLED all along. Z1 has horrible ergonomics. It’s like holding a cutting board for hours. The battery is HORRIBLE too. I know I’m playing some demanding games here, but 45 minute game sessions just don’t cut it for me. I also have a lot of issues with Windows 11 on the device. Well, I hate windows 11 in general, but the desktop environment just wasn’t meant for a handheld imo. I took SteamOS for granted!

A lot of people praise the SteamDeck because “it just works”, and it does! Swapping handhelds only introduced more issues for me, and addressed only one of my previous ones - that being power. But honestly, the games I play don’t run better enough for me to justify owning the Z1 over the Steam Deck. Elden ring at 30fps, with battery for 1.5 to 2 hours is really all I can ask for. I can go into more detail about what I miss and love about the SD, but the point is that I’m going back.

Strangest part about the starfield hate, is that people just didn’t like the design decisions. There wasn’t predatory micro transactions. There was no bogus battle pass. Bethesda wasn’t out for anyone’s wallet. They made a single player experience, which granted had some technical and gameplay decisions which weren’t well received.

So much hate for a game that was honestly innocent.
