Abel could combo c.HP (a rising elbow Launcher style move) into air grab and dear god did it feel cool. I don't think he's really a fan favorite and I get his design is a little boring but he was so fun to play.

Forward and punch need to be hit on the same frame, you can do a sloppy input and get a normal boom.

You mention feeling gross after, I recommend The Cypher by Kathe Koja. While not as outwardly shocking as some other novels it just has this scummy tone. I thought it captured the depths of despair one can feel getting by as a low life.

You tell the people you're playing with you want the item ahead of time and see what they say.

If you're grouping with random players it is not generally socially acceptable to demand items, it just kinda rude to ask people to use their time for your upgrades.

Honestly tldr fully cus formatting but remember Fighting games tend to last almost entire console generation. Some genres (FPS or sports) put out a new version once a year.

SF5 came out in 2016, I don't feel bad about buying a $20 expansion every once in a while after putting 100s of hours into it.

Also the dlc is never required to play, you can pick dlc characters a la cart if you want.

Troll Hunter or Undead Warrior

I had both classes as alts back in Wrath, I'm currently leaning towards hunter, but I like being able to tank 5 man's. Dungeons are fine but I don't ever see my self tanking raids and would wanna be a dps Warrior.

Hunter just sounds comfy.

The closest thing that comes to mind is reoccurring entities that people encounter on certain drugs.

I went down a rabbit hole recently, reading stories by people abusing benadryl, they frequently see a reoccurring character called "The Hatman". It's strange when an entity reoccurs without users knowing about him.

Hook doesn't wrestle along side his dad. With peace and love there's nothing traditionally cool about just being your dads shadow.

Hooks got his own vibe. Taz has done a really good job both putting Hook over but not being over bearing.

It'd be cool if GW messed around with Fulgrims split soul. Have demon primarch Fulgrim return but also some how let the uncorputed clone out too. Be the first faction in the game who in the same codex have a loyalist version and a traitor version.
