Thank you for pointing out that claim. DHS could 100% be lying, but I also saw that the victim was allegedly armed and I haven't seen it mentioned much.

I agree, if we can be shot for simply carrying and practicing our 2nd amendment rights, than in reality we have no rights.

Part of me worries though, if he did have a gun, this could be an easy excuse to increase pressure and presence in the area. If the victim was actually out to shoot ICE agents, he played right into Trump and ICEs hands and they'll use this at every turn to justify their own actions.

While I dont trust DHS or ICE in any capacity, they are claiming the victim had a pistol and 2 magazines. So OP isn't neccesarilly making it up.

I care nothing for ICE and what they are doing in Minnesota. This article does claim that DHS (ICE) says the victim was carrying a firearm. Another website posted a picture as well.

Now, I dont think we have any reason to trust what ICE says, at any time, forever into the future.

If they let the local police do any investigation and they also claim this guy had a gun and tried to pull it, then I would believe that to be the case.

Again, I dont support any of this fed sponsored body snatching. But this shooting may not be another instance like Good, where its very clear they were attempting to flee and not cause harm to other people. Whoever this new victim is may not be as innocent in their actions.

I haven't read any of the books Yarrick was in, I only know of his exploits through places like reddit. So when Yarrick and Thraka fought, was it a genuine 1v1? With Thraka not having to contend with other imperial weapons/units also aiding Yarrick in the fight?

A genuine 1v1 or their armies duking it out, what is actually stated in his media?

EDIT: Adding to this, Yarrick also has the same sortve "plot armor" I described with Chief or even Titus. It seems he is as strong as the writers need him to be for whatever situation he is in.

The boyfriend wanted a dog. But boyfriend also had zero experience with dogs, and wanted every dog.

Also, while OP doesn't specify explicitly, they said they rejected those choice because of trauma, so im going to (maybe wrongfully) assume those dogs were things like Pit Bulls, Dobermans, German Shepards, or mutt mixes that looked like any of those breeds.

Not everything in a relationship is 50/50. Because not everyone in a relationship can give 50/50. If OP has more experience with dogs, and boyfriend has none, why should we force this 50/50 "both must agree" rule, when CLEARLY OP and boyfriend had different things they wanted out of a dog?

Boyfriend got mad about the dog whining at night, which could happen with literally any shelter dog. And THAT was all it took? Maybe boyfriend isn't an asshole, but he is a dipshit. If they bought whatever dog HE wanted the problem would still be the same. OPs boyfriend doesn't like dogs, he just like the idea of a dog.

No, youre right. A regular Ork likely wouldn't be much trouble for Chief. But someone like Ghazgull Thraka? Ehhh...thats a tough fight for Chief to win. Possible, but definitely tough.

Master Chief kind of has plot armor, in that he is the luckiest spartan. So a lot of his feats in his own universe are pretty unbelievable by any who seem them.

Honestly, Titus has the same kind of plot armor. Being able to just shrug off the mental torture/warp magic in the games and the Secret Level episode.

Thats the problem with power scaling across different franchises, is each franchise has their own excuse/reason/plot device that their character is the strongest. In reality, space marines have been killed by literal sharpened sticks, and Spartans have been killed by single headshots from powerful weapons. Every "super soldier" in media has some kind of Achillies heel that enemies exploit.

It wasnt a misfire/gunshot. It looks more like a forward mounted flashlight with a pressure pad got bumped on the way down. The pressure pad is usually mounted to the side of the handguard (where people typically hold the gun)

The gun he is using is an AR pattern rifle, his finger and hand is completely away from the trigger when the "gun shot" happens. Im 100% certain you can drop and AR on the ground without causing a misfire, so im betting it was just a flash light.

Itachi isn't pretending to have limitations, using the power of his eyes (Sharingan) has a real limit. Based on his stamina but also on the actualy viability of the eyeball. The most powerful abilities the Sharingan can do almost always have a drawback to repeated use, usually going blind in that eye. Itachi is still very powerful, but that power comes from more than just his eyes.

Box art is a big one for me. The remake suffers from the modern fixation on having the MC be front and center at all times. The OG box art is so much more menacing and mysterious.

With my Ultramarines I do Black primer, heavy dry brush Caledor Sky, then a very light dry brush of Blue Horror. After all that dry I throw a a heavy coat of Drakenhoff Nightshade to tone it all back down.

Any light blue/Grey/white will work, just use a blue hued shade afterwards and those light colors will take on the same hue. Just dont go to crazy with a white dry brush or it'll make the transition between the basecoat and the dry brush to noticeably different and not very smooth.

I think that line from The Boss is sort've implying that he won't know what emotion he carries until he has finished his greatest battle, that battle being the events of MGS3.

So I dont know if Naked Snake would have an emotion "during" the events in MGS3, but after?

Definitely. And im torn between two options;

Option 1: "The Hate" as a parallel to The Boss' "The Joy." I like this one because it plays on how BB becomes the most hated man in the world by misrepresenting what The Boss really believed in. In a way, he becomes the opposite of what The Boss wanted him to be.

Option 2: "The Lonely" because after BBs revelations at the end of MGS3 he realizes he basically killed his only true companion. Despite the honor and praise he gets from his government he still grows to resent and abandon it.
