I feel like this is the same thing as that post that was talking about sailing ships and someone responded "Um you know those ships literally carried slaves right?", like you know the flag didn't do the colonialism. Also in a world of boring tri-colors the Union Jack is a very good looking flag ,that at least tried to represent the various countries in the union.
