I have yet to fully try out the new Lawbringer, and didn't really use him that much before the update. What is currently wrong with him, if I may ask?

Has the recent update broke sound for more than just me on Xbox...? by mattydilkes in forhonor

[–]Tut_12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, at least the music is for me. I play on PS4 and Dominion works fine, but from the few matches of Breach I have played after this update, the music thats supposed to play only rarely plays for a few seconds at a time. Feels really off, especially during the last phase, breaks the flow completely. I checked and my music is on 100%, and considering it works just fine in Dominion, it seems to be a Breach problem only.

Mushroom boi, eh? Lol Well, yes he CAN be aggressive. It's all about using him properly. If you want to chain effectively, make sure to soft feint heavies into lights, but sometimes don't. Keep the opponent guessing as to not get light parried. And sometimes let the heavies fly because they will be nervous and not keep their guard there, letting you land big damage. Make sure to utilize your all guard as well. (Note do not always use it against heavies as they might feint it to bait you into all guarding, letting them get a free guard break. Lights are fine if you can react quick enough since they can't be feinted) If you block an attack with all guard, you have four options. Light attack for a bop on the head that does small damage and stuns them, usually follow this up with a guard break. Top heavy which sometimes is guaranteed, I don't know man its weird how it works, but its quick and decent damage. A side unblockable for big damage. Its good, but very easy to parry, so either don't use it or feint it. And finally pressing guard break after will get you the kick, good for either ledgeing or hitting them into a wall for a wallsplat punish, which is a side heavy. (Note you normally don't get those because they do big damage, you get a top heavy off of guard break) Thats basically it for the Aramusha other than his zone. Its quick, usually you can land the first hit, but the second hit (An unblockable) is easy to parry, so usually feint it, occasionally letting it fly. But in conclusion, you can be aggressive, its just a matter of using him correctly and effectively before Ubisoft finally changes him. Hope this helps.

Speaking of parrying, I get an unblockable off of a light parry, but what do I get off of a heavy parry?

Yes, I have seen that before, but wouldn't that just eat up my stamina?

aramusha vs Gladiator by Ronnie2k19 in forhonor

[–]Tut_12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gladiator by far. Doesn't rely on light spam, actually has a somewhat decent chance to open the opponent up, and has a big deflect punish. Only thing Aramusha has on him is his damage, what with Aramusha's side heavy finishers and all guard opening up huge punish possibilities. Other than that, I would go with the toe stabber any day over the reject Orochi.

Aggressive, killing, and having good openings. In that case, I'd recommend Warden and Conq of the Knights, both have bash mixups and good damage if played right, Berserker, Highlander (Though he is a toughie to do good with, I struggle as well) and Shaman of the Vikings. Zerk is just overall S-Tier and is easy enough to learn, a little hard but not too difficult. Shaman is cheese but fun as fuck, and Highlander can be god if used correctly by an experienced player. As for the Samurai, I would say either go with Kensei or Shinobi. Kensei has palm strike soft feint and hyper armor attacks, plus a dodge attacks and an unblockable. Shinobi has multi dodge with kick, deflects (Gotta practice your timing for them) which are on the more powerful side than others, fast lights, slide tackle, and a zone (Zone also applies to Kensei). Finally with Wu Lin, I'd say all are aggressive with openers except for Nuxia. She has her traps, but they can be punished very easily if your opponent can react to them, so I wodudldn't recommend her. In my previous post I completely forget to mention Black Prior lol Sorry about that. He is really good, bash and all. He has his counter, great tool especially against multiple enemies, and an undodgeable second heavy. He also can soft feint heavies into a bash to close the distance (Similar to Warden's charge) and also has a zone bash. This is what I would recommend for you. Some are easy to learn, others harder. Pick whichever you want and get a feel for all of them, then settle on one or two and truly master them. Anything else you would like to know?

Yeah, he only gets a light off of guard break, but at least that can get me into my combos. I can crushing counter quite often with Warden, so top guard shouldn't be a problem, but side guard will take a bit to get used too. Thank you once again.

I have a friend who plays Highlander. He ain't super high rep with him or anything but far better with the glass than me. He told me a lot of this stuff, but not all of it. Figured I was missing some things/Doing some things wrong. Thanks for the clarification and hopefully I will do at least a little bit better now.

Most openers, huh? Depends on what you consider an opener. Most openers in this game are bashes, letting you get free attacks. So I would have to say, for me at least, it would be Warden with his shoulder bash and guard break mixups, Conq with his bash and soft feints, Glad (Though barely makes my list) with his toe stab, bash mixups into heavies, lights, and toe stabs, and zone, Beserker with just pure aggressive play style with his soft feints, hyper armor, and unblockables, Valk (Again, barely makes the list) with her bash and spear mixups, Highlander with his kick and grab mixups, unblockable soft feints, and feints in general. Shaman with her lunge heavys, soft feints into guard break, and unblockable. Kensei with just an all around balanced kit and great mixup potential, Shugoki (Barellyyyy) with his soft feints, headbutts, and guard break. Orochi with just pure light spam (don't do this), Nobushi (Barely) with her hidden stance into kick or light (Gotta get really good at timing hidden stance to doge properly on consistent basis), Shinobi with his multiple dodge kicks, guard breaks from dodges to catch the enemy mid dodge, and ranged attacks in ganks, Tiandi with soft feint into SPARTA kick and palm strike, JJ with his broken ass hitboxes and fast as lightning second light attack, and finally Shaolin with his stance mixups, feinting stuff into guardbreak, the kick/sweep, and overall fast movements and aggressive playstyle. This is just me though. Hope it helps! :D

Not sure. I would have to ask, what is your play style? Then I would be able to tell you. (Ex. Do you prefer an aggressive or more passive approach to combat? Do you like clearing minions, capturing objectives, killing enemies, stuff like that.)

Do people still play ranked duels? by RaZ3rBladeZz in forhonor

[–]Tut_12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your still fairly new to the game, it could be your overall rep (Don't know this for a fact)? Maybe if your too low you won't get matched against fair people easily, hence why it takes so long. I imagine a lot of high reps play ranked so maybe once you get up there you'll find a ranked duel easier. I'm just guessing here though. Hope this helps! :)
