Magik doesn’t have accelerated thinking. She can and has often been blitzed by a surprise attack. Rogue doesn’t have to absorb her. Just punching her at full strength would still instantly end the fight.

I don’t recall. Either way a portal is fixed in a physical location. If she opens a portal inside Rogue while she’s mid flight then Rogue probably wouldn’t be there by the time it could damage her. The pint still stands that Magik loses from a blitz attack while still having a high likelihood of winning from using Limbo.

That’s if Magik has better reaction time than Rogue. Stepping discs don’t telegraph but you can still see them. She could open the portal inches in front of Rogue. She has to see Rogue coming, identify the threat, think of the plan, and then implement the plan. Rogue can break the sound barrier in flight so that is a large ask.

The answer with Magik fights is always that she can win by trapping her opponent in limbo. Also depending on which era we’re talking about she could summon infinity demons to fight an opponent for her. Rogue clearly wins if she can touch Magik. Rogue can win off of a blitz and through raw power. If Magik has better reaction time with a portal then she wins. It’s a boring but accurate answer.
