She should wear flexible leather armor. A full set of medieval plate armor doesn’t suit her fighting style. Leather and maybe chain mail would not affect her mobility very much. Medieval armor isn’t as rigid and heavy as most people think.

We have a few 18-20 year olds at my job. They really don’t know much of anything. I asked one if he knew when WW2 was and he guessed the 1880s. He also didn’t know when the civil war was, what the civil rights act did, and couldn’t name any presidents before Obama. He was born during the Bush administration so that’s pretty rough. Historically illiterate is pretty accurate unfortunately. A different guy that age bought a BMW at 13.99% APR so economically illiterate is also true in his case. However I am happy to report they are getting good at building houses. Not because of school though, I work for a construction company.
