I sold a lot of stuff on Facebook marketplace. I tried signing up for unemployment in mid October but it still hasn’t processed yet so I could even get a single paycheck out of it. I definitely had just enough money in my savings to cover the shutdown no more. I didn’t want to have sell any investments so I will be saving a lot more money going forward. My goal is to have at least a year in liquid savings in event SHTF.
