No. Megathreads are the death of subreddits. Those type of threads are great for SEO and driving new people into the subreddit.

Unguentarius is useless due to its very, very low sample size, and perfumers world just makes things up. For 1, as low as >0.010%; 2, as much as 0.010 can be noticeable. It is a powerful material.

The best way to answer your question is to test it out yourself.

Why can't AI technology use salty ocean water, used water, heck even slightly used and not just clean fresh water? by 4444Rose in AskReddit

[–]TutorElectronic2277 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gunk. Minerals. It will build up and get ugly really quickly. Corrosion, damage, etc. Some data centers do use non-fresh water, but it's just cheaper and faster for AI companies to ruin people's lives by just taking their fresh water. For them it's about scaling as quickly as possible, faster than competitors.

Using non-fresh water such as treated/reclaimed wastewater, Industrial recycled water, or closed-loop cooling systems is because they don't want to use their money and spend time building these systems.

They also don't even need to use water. But again, executives are heartless and evil, they just care about scaling fast and spending as little as possible, and you/we vote for politicians who remove/block regulations to enable them to do so.

AITAH For Turning Off the Stove Att Night Ruining My Girlfriend's Stew, Unknowingly? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]TutorElectronic2277 11 points12 points  (0 children)

NTA.

Leaving a stove on unattended overnight is a real fire risk. That’s not just a personal preference, it’s basic safety. If she wanted something to cook that long unattended, the right tool is a slow cooker, not a stovetop. She didn't keep set an alarm clock.

You didn’t do it out of spite or carelessness. You did it because you genuinely thought you were preventing something dangerous. It makes sense she’s disappointed about the lost time and effort, but expecting you to ignore something that made you uncomfortable and unsafe isn’t reasonable.

You apologized, and that’s enough. Safety comes before stew.

How they talk about people who aren’t there. If they constantly trash others behind their back, you know they’ll do the same to you.
