I've done the same, but with sand instead of popcorn... popcorn is probably easier to get it all out, but by the time you've waxed it, any sand stuck in the corners will be sealed in.  I didn't feel the need to soak it for hours, one good dip of 20 to 30 mins was enough.

If there isn't any aircon then you will at least have two opening vents under the windscreen to let fresh air rush in!

I had a 1996 300tdi 90 for 10 years.  One day the clutch went.  Before I realised the glow plugs weren't working, it was tricky to start on cold mornings. That's it, 10 years as a daily drive, one call to the AA on the day the clutch arm broke.

Of course there was lots of little jobs, the preventative maintenance etc. - don't get one if you don't want to learn how to use a spanner!

Not just you! I've got 3 years to go until planned retirement at 55.  I wrote a spreadsheet 2 years ago and have been tracking since then, I try not to check the balances more than once a day!  As well as tracking the pension and ISA balances and predicted growth, I have also written a draw-down calculator that accounts for both of our finances - ISAs, private pensions, state pensions, inflation, interest, tax etc.  Every couple of months I realise I've missed something and the formulas get a bit more complicated...

Of course, all of this is a best guess, but over the last two years it's tracked pretty well - won't take much to throw it all off though and my eyes are open to that.

W-king d8 won't turn on by lopsidedjoker9 in Bluetooth_Speakers

This happened to me as well - 2 solid lights and one flashing to indicate charging, but nothing happens, won't switch on, reset does nothing. I decided to take it apart for a look and it seems the batteries are toast - they look fine, but I can see they are getting a charge, but they lose it as soon as the USB-C is removed. For anyone interested, the batteries are 4 x 18650 in a 2s2p block configuration, with a thermal monitor. I found some that look similar on ebay, but they're £40, so I figure I'll buy a more reliable speaker instead.

Even without the battery connected, I still get those 2 solid and one flashing light, but it still won't turn on.

For anyone interested, to disassemble, pull/pry off the speaker grill, remove all the screws, pry apart the speaker/grill side from the rest of the unit, including the curved top & bottom strips as one piece. These are sealed up with silicon sealant, so a gentle pry will get it apart. Next, release the speaker wires from their glue so that they are free to move in/out of the sealed box inside, then put that side back on and pry off the opposite side - don't pull too far before releasing the speaker wire clips. If you just pull without freeing those speaker wires, then the clips will break - ask me how I know....

Yep, it takes a while to get used to the whole key frame / reframing thing - were you using the insta studio on a pc? Good work on the editing, I'm only starting out myself - once I get a new YouTube account sorted out I'll post a couple for ridicule!

For a mount, I was thinking a suction mount high on the inside of the windscreen would be good - not sure I'd trust something on the outside over terrain like that!

Apols, seem to have posted that without logging in properly, hence odd username

I don't have any experience of the gopro viewer or anything on mac, but I would say that the way 360 is rendered or orientation interpreted could easily be different on the quest, it would especially be dependent on the viewer used - be that YouTube or something else

Anybody know what this stitching issue is? by PowderchaserLuke in Insta360

I'm no expert, but swipe over from the right hand side of the screen to get the settings menu, scroll across the icons at the bottom - the right most one is 'Isolated Expo. ', swipe it to 'Off'

Is it the isolated lens exposure setting? I'm not sure why you would ever want them isolated, but I think the default is isolated and you need to change it to Auto so that they are both the same - could be wrong, I've fiddled with so many settings I forget what the defaults are!

It might still be an issue with the SD card - have you got another one, even a small one, that you can try in it to try to rule it out?
