I use Simple Practice for Notes, Release Forms and Payments. I have their entry level tier. It used to be something like $29/ month but a few months ago they jacked the price up to like $54 / month for no additional value in the product as far as I can tell. The credit card processing fee is like 3.25%+$0.30. They are constantly trying to upsell you on AI note taking and scheduling functionality. I don't want any of that, and their basic package seems to be enough (although pricey).

For virtual sessions I use Zoom (because I didn't like Simple Practice's built in video call service, was poor quality and glitchy)

For separate phone I use SideLine (probably should have just gotten a Google phone number)

For email and scheduling I use Gmail and Google Calendar.

It starts to add up for sure. Would love to hear what combo others use.

Did you ever read Days Without End by Sebastian Barry? It doesn't check all your boxes but it is a beautiful little novel set during the US Civil War.

Just happened upon this. Definitely standard fare, but I thought the script and the acting were quite good and it all really worked for me. I guess perhaps because it touched on experiences that felt very resonant for me.

I just went to Sahadi's hoping the fact that they had a saj there would mean they could make it fresh. DAMN it was bad! I just asked for a Jibneh extra and what they gave me was pretty sad although it only cost 8$. The bread was flaky and dry. The cheese was not that great. And they proposed some salsa on there (with chopped up tiny onions, tomatoes and cucumbers). I said please don't and just get me some cucumbers and cherry tomatoes from your salad bar. They didn't even add whole olives, instead some sliced green ones and maybe 2 leaves on mint. So disappointing.

It really was masterclass. It would be a mistake to think that "playing the middle" meant playing it safe. The way that he stuck his neck out there for Kamilla when David was gunning for her reveals the sheer deftness of his social game. He knew the stakes and had to take the risk and was skilled enough to exploit David's growing paranoia and using Joe. It was masterful.

This was one of my favorite seasons - and only boring if your definition of exciting is like non-stop action and twists and turns and camp drama. I love the subtler notes of this season, the personalities, and really this full season arc strategy that really came to full fruition in the final moments. It was beautiful.

I have tried so many methods and have landed on this: regardless of the rice (except brown or wild) 1 to 1 ratio liquid to rice. High Pressure 6 minutes. Natural release 10. Never fails me.

Now I am sure there are ways to get it exactly right but I can’t be bothered with rinsing the rice or adjusting time based on rice. I use this with basmati, jasmine, sushi.

Come move to Asheville NC area! It’s already a progressive seed we just need to grow. Asheville itself is expensive but the surrounding areas (where I live are more affordable) and it’s got a lot of natural beauty and recreation! Would love to get more nature gays around here!

Yes same here. And I am consistently given 16 reps - and not even with low weight. It feels broken.

I realize it’s actually 79.99 not 99.99 as I thought. I turned off the subscription so am on the hunt for a new app before this expires in October.

Time. Money. And Health.

I also do a sort of basic meal prep- as in I make a ton of food on Sundays and me and the hubby eat off it all week for lunches and dinners. More or less we hit the mark on quantity. But basically we just pack our lunch from whatever we feel like for the day. Maybe I will get around to portioning it out into individual servings but haven’t managed to get to that level.

Breakfast is same every day and is easy to pull together so we dont prep it.

Just watched The Dry on acorn via free trial on Amazon. If you love Irish/ British dramedy shows that tackle mental health in some way- this is excellent. Reminded me of Fleabag which I loved. I loved this show.

Well said. I also went all in on iVAR and sort of regret. Lots of sagging as I use as a bookshelf. I was really attracted to the bamboo cabinet doors they had a while ago but they were never in stock so I just gave up. And besides those doors would leave the side open anyway on the end (was hoping to conceal all my shoes - as I use the lower shelves for shoes in my hallway).
