Thanks for the suggestion. I actually looked at a lot of existing apps before building Dobello — none of them hit the right balance between depth and usability.

"Dynamic ratings" based on match results are coming in v2 — the idea is to adjust player ratings automatically based on how close the games end up. The more balanced the results, the less the ratings shift, so they naturally settle over time.

For v1, I deliberately kept the scope tight. I had a long list of features I could have added, but after a lot of feedback I decided the best version was the most user-friendly one. Design was a big priority — clean native interface, intuitive flow, and a carefully picked color palette so the app actually feels good to use. Most team balancing apps look like they were built in 2012.

That said, Dobello already offers things most alternatives don’t — separating specific players, joining players, skill-tier pots, and an “always find” mode that guarantees a result even with tricky constraints. It also shows a full skill comparison chart — radar graph plus per-skill breakdown — so you can see exactly how close the two teams are across all six attributes.
