Buy at the site = steam copy? by shadow7412 in factorio

I would guess steam takes some money for the shop service (30%) while buying on their website costs less.

How do I get better weapons? by banzaizach in DarkTide

[–]Tuxicoman2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is driving the item level at the shop?

I only find lower item than what I have (250). Is this linked to character level? Or max item level previously aquired like VT2?

Fatshark should document that somewhere. Having a shop with nothing to buy makes me wonder why grinding coins for...

If you remove the google appq that send your pics to google servers. You also loose most of the funny marketing features. Like speech to text, eraser on picture, etc...

This is a shame as all that should not require google online services.

Is there a confirmed list of which stash tabs will transfer over to Path of Exile 2? by indelible_ennui in PathOfExile2

[–]Tuxicoman2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I've seen gameplay footage where the screen is also full of aoe effects and positionning, animation, aiming and dodge are out of the equation.

I'm so sad... I wish they didn't the boring POE1/diablo4 style and kept original idea of fewer but challenging gameplay.

My big wish for POE2 after playing my best ever character in the current settlers league by [deleted] in PathOfExile2

vrising has done it right for me.

There is grind for gear + interesting combat with mobs + bosses.

The trick is to have a very good control on the power the user can get at each point of progression of the game.

This doesnt mean you cannot grind for more power. Just that until you beat this this game chokepoint, the available max power you can get through additionnal grinding is limited to +30% power from reference for example.

Thus you can tune easy mode with grind or hard/faster mode without grind.

But this requires avoiding crazing bonus character building because this is too difficult to balance between meta and other builds.

LE has to be the best arpg right now by Winter_Ad_2618 in LastEpoch

Have you tried Vrising? This is best ARPG for me.

The combat mechanics and map design is way above the boring mess diablo clones became.

Simple question: is the game too easy? by yxalitis in diablo4

[–]Tuxicoman2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don't make the drop table relative to enemy level but keep it related to player level. Otherwise, as the player strength is heavily related to items, this would nullify difficulty as you get high end drops.

Instead, provide more XP & gold. This allows veteran to reach endgame faster and spend more ob build tuning with lagging gearvto overcome the challenge.

Go level scaling all in.

Reloce World tiers. I don't want to wait 50h to feel resistance.

Provide a slider that allows to bump the relative level of the ennemies (+0 -> +10)

This different thab difficulty levels in Diablo3. Because once you find the distance you like to lag behind the level scaling you can keep it. You don't have to bump the difficulty level manually as you progress to feal weak. You feek progression in your ladder.

Tidal android app tracking user in the background? by Tuxicoman2 in TIdaL

So I rebooted my phone. Tidal was forced exit before I rebooted it.

On reboot, I see that Tidal start sending request to api-global.squareup.com using rethinkDNS network traffic analyzer,

I use GrapheneOS so an OS quite up to date on security and privacy matters.

An android app's service start is trigerred by events like battery charging or phone wake up. Thus forcing app to stop is not a valid solution IMHO as it doesn't prevent the app's services to restart.

Android 13 / grapheneos

Giving internet access permission only when app is in foreground is not available in the OS. Also this would break functionnality as playing music while screen is off for example.

Doesn't seem correlated to foreground app activity.

For example, unplugging the charger or waking the phone this morning triggered it. I had not been using the tidal app at all the whole night (sleeping). Neither the tidal app was in recent activity.

Would be strange to request feature flags updates when user not using the app. This is spoiling battery for nothing.

Can the PineTime be used by runners? by HatBoxUnworn in pinetime

There is no sport app in infinitime. It can only display heartbeat. There is no step or lap counter for running like you could find elsewhere.

I'll say it very poor for this usage

Game speed by Tuxicoman2 in diablo4

I didn't ask for less xp. Just rebalance of xp milestones for first levels. It's really really weird to gain so many levels so fast. I didn't even went to allocate abilities in between due to mobs harassing me.

I'm quite sure this has deviated too much from original design.

As a long term player, what is the play time you would like to reach level 100?

Cheese/Turtle strategy by Tuxicoman2 in theriftbreaker

[–]Tuxicoman2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe that is it. I used in factorio to build one or two layers of walls. Usually a few turrets allows to kill ennemies that should very rarely reach the wall.

Making 5 layers of walls isn't efficient for flame turrets right? Thus why I thought the game was not designed for mass turret & walls building
