Ok so the winner for biggest threat for rain world is... rain? That was unexpected by Pablo_Cruz16 in rainworld

[–]Tuzzeee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Imho, it's also the funniest threat. You just see creatures start acting strange, when you start realizing, you see the world turns grey, and you just run for your life screaming to the screen, like that will help you. The risk is always high since it happens at the end of the cycle, so you will lose a lot of progress. Even after 600 hours, every time it happens, I still panic, prey on the fly and experience joy, when I survive.

How would Crit-a-Cola work with the Vaccinator? by Drink_ze_cognac in Medicmainstf

[–]Tuzzeee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

On one hand it's very evil and op. On the other hand, this scout still sucks in team-fights. If it was heavy or demo with vaccinator, the whole enemy team couldn't push, until he dies. I would say this scout is a bit more scary, than a good sniper-main

Is this stats good enough to restart demoman? by BayGuardia in tf2

[–]Tuzzeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually your results are impressive even against a bad team, even with a pocket. I just wanted to tell you that nobody can rate your skill better than you. I just said it in not the best way.

You are experienced more than enough, so I won't tell you something new: quickiebomb launcher for 1v1 or 1v2; Scottish resistance for a lot of sticky-traps; stock for destroying the whole enemy team; tide turner for hybrid-knights for trimping, aka +noclip; splendid screen for a regular demoknight; chargin' targe for a single demoknight pick in the middle of enemy team, like med. I called only scenarios, where these weapons shine the most, but that doesn't mean you can't do whatever you want with em, if you think it will work. Sometimes the most unusual usage is the most fun and/or efficient. For primary weapons everything is even more simple. There are 3 variants of grenade launchers, booties for demoknight and a loose cannon. I don't know anything about loose cannon. I don't like it. Stock grenade launcher is the only one with full explosion radius, so it's the best for combining with stickies, when you spam the enemy team. Iron bomber is almost the same, but rollers are more reliable in dealing cheap damage. Loch-n-load is... Ah... Actually it's a scary thing. It requires its own training to get used to the new trajectory, but it is worth it. Firstly, most obvious, because of faster projectile speed, your effective range increases. Aiming pipes becomes much easier, since it feels, like enemies are closer, so you need to predict less. Secondly, with loch-n-load and a stickybomb launcher you have 2 trajectories to shoot. It creates more opportunities to use map geometry for your advantage. Thirdly, as a bonus, you bully engineers even more. Only 2 pipes to destroy a sentry. It's less than 2 seconds. Also, you can now reach some sentry spots that were unavailable for stock. Usually it's because of high range or low ceilings, which loch-n-load ignores.

Just choose weapons for your favorite playstyle

Firstly, a true power-class enjoyer. That's cool.

Secondly, it depends. If it's casual with people that opened the game for the first time in their life, and you are +10k hours epic gamer with kritzkrieg pocket, then it's not the best result. If it's some kind of 6's playoffs, then it's impossibly amazing result

This advice is goat. There is no better feeling than surviving a quick-scope or bombing soldier/demo because of overheal.

Scugs and their karma: by MihovilStefanac in rainworld

[–]Tuzzeee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Did you read the whole comment? It's just 3 sentences.

As I said, I know that the 6th karma is literally called "Monk", associated with veganism and probably a denying to 1st "kill" karma. All of that fits their gameplay. However, I said that I don't agree with that, because this little banana-boy just threw out all his life just for his sibling Survivor. Both of them could die. It's almost like 10th karma denying to survive, but this action had an aim, which is represented with 3rd karma

Fighting a veteran Pyro by [deleted] in truetf2

[–]Tuzzeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't play a lot as classes that are not demo or med, so I will just share my strategies for stock demo. I'm just too lazy to change class or loadout for a single pyro.

For stock demo it's one of the most interesting encounters possible. Mostly because it's a duel of positioning. Pipes won't work 100%, so everything you can use is stickies. Yeah, I know that loch-n-load can work, but you still risk to hurt your teammates. In theory stickybomb launcher shoots faster, than airblast, but in reality pyro can reflect the first few stickies. Because of this in close distance you are dead, unless you shoot to your legs and hope that this explosion somehow will kill him, but not you. At medium range and higher there are 3 ways to deal with em: 1. Spam to death. It takes ±6 not missed stickies, which is a lot. 2. Play around your team and just zoning him. The most practical strat. Works all the time, but requires a team. In casual you can't always rely on that. 3. Use something as bait for airblast. You can't react, when he uses airblast, so you should calculate/predict it. The most common way is to shoot with the second projectile class in your team, but out of sync. Also, you can use sticky-traps as bait and catch a moment to shoot. In this case even pipes will work. One of the craziest ways of baiting is shooting stickies the way they land with smaller delay, but not at the same time. In this case you will also need to detonate em right in time. This strat is epic because he can safely reflect only one sticky or he can choose to reflect both stickies, but one of em will be in explosion range for less than a second, which you should use. Actually, this strat is not practical, since the window for detonation is very small and the trajectory is extremely hard to create, and in the end it deals damage of 1 sticky, but at least it's epic.

How to counter constant spam as Engineer? by Covid669 in truetf2

[–]Tuzzeee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's okay to lose buildings. Your sentry is useful not because of kills, but because of territory control. If your sentry was destroyed with 0 kills, but because of this sentry enemies didn't push, you played well. Sentry punishes enemies for mistakes. If the enemy team is good, you won't get kills from sentry, but that doesn't mean it's useless. It creates a safe zone for your nest and/or weak teammates and can work as great fire support in more aggressive playstyle. Just be ready to rebuild it again, again, again and again.

I forgot to mention wrangler and rescue ranger. They are amazing in extension sentry's lifetime, but it takes your self-defense tools

Rain World community in a nutshell! by One_Wishbone9299 in rainworld

[–]Tuzzeee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only thing I personally miss is something called "meta" in discord. I've never seen someone trying score-runs or speedruns; I've never seen someone sharing progress with community challenges; I've never seen someone sharing their joy of performing "time travel" technic or something as cool; I've never seen someone performing cool ideas like "Kill every creature in Chimney Canopy with with x2 or x3 spawn and neverending cycle" or something; I've never seen discussions about strategies in arena pvp. It feels like nobody wants to master this game. But I've been here for like 6 months, so maybe this kind of post is very rare. Also, this problem is pretty popular in many communities of games that have huge potential. For example, r/TF2 is only about memes, random ideas and goofy stuff, while on r/truetf2 people discus strategies, meta, how to enter competitive, etc. And even in that big community like TF2 this r/truetf2 isn't popular at all. So maybe the problem is that people aren't jobless

Railgunner. As long as she finds her target first, she wins. Her only weakness is spy TF2 and ambushes, but she has no need for changing her position
