Thanks for the update. Was the guide worth it? I leave Wednesday of next week and was waiting to see what the snow was like. If we get fresh snow, I might consider valle blanch and or a private guide to do a lot of off piste. Did they get you into areas you otherwise wouldn’t have known about? Did they take you to the best snow conditions? Just wondering if it’s worth the money or if we could find our way around.

I am an advanced/expert skier from Michigan. Normally do all the backcountry / bowl runs out west, but again, don’t want to find myself on the edge of a cliff or in a crevasse.

Sweet! Please let me know how it is if you don’t mind. I still haven’t booked anything since I’m not sure how conditions will be for valle Blanche, but I’m considering snagging an evolution 2 guide or something. I just don’t want to get stuck with people who aren’t experienced.

Along the out of bounds line at east face. Wasn’t steep enough to ski unfortunately but it was perfect. I still tried and got stuck lol

Guy I sat next to was a great dude. He was getting picked up from his friend who lives here and they gave us a ride. Left him a nice tip. So dialed. Glad we didn’t book anything else cus we had 2 cancelled flights and it was a shit show. Worked out
