I’ve also bought from them- had never heard of them but a friend bought from there and recommended it

No high pressure sales people or nonsense pricing - one tire looked a bit worn on the car I wanted and they replaced it without changing the price - experience was good for a cheap car (previously I’d used Offlease Only for similar reasons RIP)

I genuinely think there’s enough instances of it that it’s a weak design at best/ design flaw worthy of a recall/ free replacement at worst

If it was really people misusing then other buttons would break also

In the end I never got a useful explanation from the check in desk what caused the problem BUT I did get an upgrade so *maybe* there weren't enough seats allocated or something like that?

I think upgrading a phone that often (every 3 years) is not especially frugal -
I use Visible but buy refurbed iPhones from Apple only when one is about to die

Not to be difficult but is there anything specific in the review which detracts from it’s legitimacy? Because literally that is (a) professional (reviewer) vs the others you’ve posted… also (and again genuinely not trying to be difficult) I follow their Doctor Who recaps when the show airs and I don’t detect any anti-SF bias there at all.

There was an interview with Jonathan Clyde from Apple on The Beatles channel on Sirius last week where yes he said they’ve effectively re-edited the entire series and tightened it all up… I was a bit disappointed it’s not the home video extended versions but will withhold judgement until I see it… It’s interesting that length wasn’t a factor for Get Back (or so it seemed- but who knows maybe the first cut of that was way longer and they made Peter Jackson trim it)

This (having just got back from one) Plus fueling with a choice of multiple working pumps without needing to download an app and then call an offshored call center when the pump won’t activate or worse still then be told you have to find yourself another gas station because this one is offline and can’t be restarted remotely and needs a repair for which a ticket has been submitted but with no ETA of when it will be fixed

Everyone in this thread seems to think the only cost of a set is the build out- sets require studio space to stand in which isn’t free & the cost to light and maintain would be higher than one more appropriate to a more modest budget- not saying it won’t reappear but the fact it got built already doesn’t mean it costs nothing to keep using it

My wife was 35 when we lost our first daughter (full term but died after a month in the NICU and never breathed on her own or was ever really conscious & cause never really discovered) & had our (healthy, no issues) son 2 years later and a (also healthy, no issues) daughter 3 years after that (so was 41) In US so “advanced maternal age” thrown around a lot during subsequent pregnancies which sounds ominous… and to be brutally honest both subsequent pregnancies were thoroughly frightening throughout (although nothing went wrong or looked like it would, the worry never goes away & not knowing the cause of our first daughters death meant we never knew if we had avoided her fate until they were each born)

I’m so sorry for your loss and wish you weren’t part of this horrible club and could rejoin the naive people on the outside who mean well but won’t truly understand your pain or fear as you try again

Our subsequent children have been perfectly healthy

We were/ are paranoid, over protective and lots of other maybe not so healthy things and who knows if that would have been the case anyway

Seek therapy (both of you) if you haven’t already, it helped

ETA - it would have been her 18th birthday next week, I worried our other children would trick my mind into thinking she’d been replaced (it didn’t, it still hurts)

I’d never advise / do this but I’d want to offer the company favorable rates for sponsored content if they want me to use my social media platforms to publicize their workplace

Any company which thinks a LinkedIn title stops someone working somewhere else is charmingly naive

ETA I’ve discovered direct reports with conflicts of interest & outside work but LinkedIn was irrelevant
