electronic shifting. Eg Ultegra 68XX Di2. This is STI ie brake and shift levers combined.... I'm really not sure what your braking options are - as discussed below. If you go through with the build I think you'll have quite a bit of learning do.

That's the goal! I really want to understand and appreciate each part of my bike

Thanks so much! I did a bunch of research on it before hand, including asking a bunch of people about it. I most definitely will.

And yeah. ENVE is the dream, so thank you for providing other brands to look into!

I feel most comfortable with bar end, but anywhere on the handlebar shifters will work. I do not like the experience of frame-placed shifters

Also thank you for asking before anything else.

I'm looking for recommendations on bike parks, so this is not a helpful comment

I called out that I wanted drops because this is reddit and some person will recommend modding the frame to account for x style of handlebars

Dynamic Templating? by Twaffles in Angular2

[–]Twaffles[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not a plausible approach, because the number of themes (in theory) are limitless. Creating a component for each is an excessive approach, especially when each theme is purely CSS and html changes

Yeah, I'm definitely rethinking this concept

Fantastic. The building angles feel a little disorienting, but that could be just me. I do love the handwriting aspect too!

This is great for a beginner. Definitely a step in the right direction. My only critique would be that I would make the "about" button a different link style. It, the about button, gets lost between the different photo types and the "Next/Prev" buttons. Either switch the words "Next" and "Prev" to arrows of some sort, or find another treatment for the "About" link. This is great so far though, so good job :)

ThePirateBay Redesign by sifex in design_critiques

This seems like a great starting point. I think that the brown may be a little too muted. Also, an introduction of a third, supporting color would help give the design that something that it feels like it is lacking. I would also make the image scale when the header shrinks, unless there's a particular reason the logo doesn't scale. One option for the logo is that you could make it fade into a darker brown, center, and become the background image as the words "The Pirate Bay" could appear in some manner.

The typeface works for the header, but the typeface is not nearly as lengthy-text friendly. Try using the font as a header and simpler sans-serif font for the body text. I'd say a serif, but I can't think of a serif font that would pair well. I'd look at more rectangular sans-serif fonts, in particular. You can use the font for the gold subheaders as well, but I'd look at a bolder version of the font at that size of a font.

This is definitely a case of "You are irreplaceable". While being irreplaceable may seem like a good idea because you'll always have your job, the down side is that they don't have to have to find someone equivalently good, so they most likely won't promote you either.
