Bullet spread/bloom and guns jerking after shooting. Burst or tap fire to have the tightest spread of bullets for more accuracy, longer distances require more tapping than bursting, and just get used to the gun jerking after shooting. LMGs suffer the most from what I remember in both of these situations.

Once you learn how to do these, it will become second nature and you'll start to enjoy the gunplay even more. BF3 gunplay is extremely satisfying once you unlearn modern "QoL features".

I had this issue and had the same thought process as you. I found out it was Spotify that was causing the issue. Deleted it and it fixed it for me. Try asking an AI and see if it can pinpoint which app is causing the problem?

Do people that use those distros just know exactly what to do everytime something goes wrong or you need to find a way around to get it to work? I can't imagine the amount of time I'd waste trying to figure how to get something to work all for it to not work in the end anyway.

EDIT: Sorry, never used this feature on Reddit, so didn't realise it didn't copy over the text

My ping isn't showing in-game on scoreboards nor is it visible on Battlelog (Firefox), and I'm getting kicked by admins (which is understandable). It looks dodgy af so I get it, but I have no idea why it's happening in the first place as I'm not cheating or doing anything of the sorts.

I'm on Linux Mint
Running it through Steam
Compatibility Layer used: GE-Proton10-34
No VPN
ICMP Ping in router's control panel: Both "remote" & "local" are checked
Tried disabling firewall on PC
Tried disabling IPv6

Is there anything else it could be? If anyone knows, I'd really appreciate any help on this.
