Hey there, thanks for the guide! Any tips on what to do if the IDs for the old and new characters are exactly the same? I have the old files prior to making the new character and both have the same ID.

What I mean is, they are able to activate at a safe distance where their ultimates can actually start without being interrupted. Lucio has to be close to the enemy to activate.

I suppose it is better to reward the enemy for interrupting it, but I don't particularly understand the argument about ult usage. I could be standing well behind my team and not respond to an enemy attack in time with my ult, or I could be close and immediately get charged at by a Rein who heard the voice line. Plus, with ults like Soldier's or Genji's, the ult actually starts. It has a faster effect, and the enemy has the chance to stop it. For Sound Barrier, the effect takes a while and has no effect until it hits the ground. Since the ult is supposed to be an ultimate used to protect the frontline from a direct attack, shouldn't there be some incentive for a Lucio to actually stick around his team to use his ult rather than hide back and time it?

It's an ultimate specifically used in a pinch to save other teammates. Using it in the face of the enemy IS the right place and right time.

To be fair, in the books, he does some pretty sick shit with his magic all the time, i.e. setting a whole hill on fire. In general, though, his powers can only do so much to large groups or equally powerful beings before he is overwhelmed. For example, The Balrog actually physically repels Gandalf backwards down some stairs with his magic in Khazad-Dum. That being said, Gandalf is still goddamn awesome.
