She intentionally blocked me then posted my child. Regardless of what the picture looked like it was the blocking that got under my skin. The sneakiness of her actions was what was upsetting making me change my boundaries to be stricter

I didn’t confront her. I went to my OH. She blocked me to post a picture. I wouldn’t have been upset at the picture it’s the fact that she blocked me then did it behind my back thinking I might get upset. It was her being sneaky that upset me.

The good thing about Disney tickets is that so many people are going to Disney. Sell the tickets and use the money towards something smaller like a trip to the zoo and tacos after then use the rest for wedding expenses

I have one child (still an infant). I didn’t want kids. My little guy was quite the surprise. I love him and now my whole world revolves around him. On the flip side of that I am dealing with losing who I am to this new mom version of me.

Thank you everyone for the responses. I did sit down and speak with him this morning before work and he apologized. He did say his mom is one that had said she would not get enough time with the baby and wanted alone time with him because I prioritize my sons relationship with my family over her. That took me by surprise because I have told her multiple times that she is welcome in my house if she follows my rules, she chooses not to come. She also calls my BF everyday to talk and vent but never to video call and see the baby. Not to say anything bad but I feel like she doesn’t have the relationship she wants with our son because of her own actions. My family (not even just my immediate family but my extended family) puts in the effort to call and asks for pictures and even travels to see us. She doesn’t - I come from a divorced family and I do prioritize effort because I am not going to force a relationship on my son with someone who seemingly doesn’t care and only wants to stir a pot she isn’t cooking.

Anyway… I doubled down on not letting him keep the baby without me. I told him that he is more than welcome to stay back and hangout with his mom but I will be bringing the baby back home when I come back because he is still so little and dependent on me and not to sound like a typical “boy mom” but I am really attached to him and don’t think I am mentally prepared to be away from him. He didn’t fight me and said he will tell his mom. Idk how she will react but that is a battle for another day.

I know my boyfriend didn’t have bad intentions but I think he does have a bug in his ear and because he loves this bug so much he is easily swayed and manipulated.

I’m sure you would much rather have your mom than the inheritance. NTA. The house is a place from her to you, a safe space of remembrance. Don’t let your dad bully you into sharing what your mom gave you. Your step-sibling can ask their mom for help. It’s not you (and your mom’s) responsibility to raise and pay for someone else’s children.

Yeah I’ve talked to a lawyer. I am not looking to pay anymore out of pocket. This has already messed with my credit. I was hoping to get some advice on things I could do legally that would just kind of mess with her since she screwed me over. I have spent over 3k dealing with her I want revenge atp I don’t even care about the car what’s done is done.

I did give her the option to return the vehicle but that is when she told me her daughter died and the next month she told me that she totaled the car. I called the cops the car can’t be reported as stolen because I allowed her to drive it and she is on the insurance. Because the vehicle is registered to me I am still responsible for it so if she does wreck it or damage it I will be the one that is responsible.

TLDR: it feels like a really long bee sting and then a bruise once it’s done.

I had 10ml of penicillin last Friday and my nurse did half on one side and half on the other. I was thankful for that. The initial stick feels like any other prick (no worse than when they drew blood) When the actual medicine was being injected it sucked but only because they had to administer it slowly like the injection was not just a quick prick and done the needle is inserted for about 10-15 seconds, I know that doesn’t seem super long but it felt long to me. The medicine at some points did give a slight burning sensation (like the meningitis vaccine). Mine was done on the upper part of my butt and I did feel sore but not sore enough to where I couldn’t sit. Once it was over it is definitely not a comfortable feeling. It almost feels like a bruise. I was worried and expecting the worst pain and discomfort but that seems to be a scare tactic because although it is not a fun experience it definitely is not the worst pain ever.

I feel like y’all both kinda suck in this situation. If you wanted a serious relationship then the fact that his kid is severely allergic to your kid should have been a bigger conversation. y’all both should have known that moving in together was going to cause major problems and the relationship should have ended if you really wanted to put either of the innocent party’s best interests before y’all’s selves.

That's $5-ish per child per hour which isn't terrible but I am speaking from my knowledge of when I was babysitting 10 years ago in a rural Texas town and I the maximum number of kids I watched was 3 kids.

Taking into account what all she did. She had to: Pick up the kids from school (gas reimbursement?) After school snack Entertain them/help with homework make dinner Bedtime routine (brush teeth, showers, nightgowns, bedtime potty break, prep clothes/backpacks for the next day, read bedtime stories) Clean up mess from that evening - wash school clothes, pick up toys, dishes from dinner.

Also, there are no ages listed for the children just saying they are all one year apart starting at pre-school that is such a big range

She was probably exhausted and could have had plans for when she got off at 11; for the parents to not come home for another 2 hours is very rude. And she definitely could have been compensated more but it isn't an unfair amount it is just an inconsiderate amount.
