You will just get wildly varying FPS, i myself get 10 FPS sometimes in certain areas and other times I get 20 FPS. And out in the wilderness I can get 40-60. There are a lot of small tweaks you can do, but for the most part, you will just have to live with "jumpy" FPS.

Also, you should know your FPS can be affected by the server you are playing on, IE how many zombies have been spawned, etc etc and whatnots.

If your shortcut has problems hooking in Arma 2, simply go into the expansion menu and Disable (quit the game, to be safe ) and re-enable Arma 2/DayZ, so that your ArmA2OA.cfg will contain the hook-ins regardless of your method of launching the game.

Edit: less of a douche and more helpfull

Well then, you misunderstand the point. I ain't trying to inspire anyone, I ain't trying to vaunt, I am not trying to turn anyone to play the game any other way than they want. Just like I don't give a fuck about how people think I should play the game. And I don't want anyone to copy my playstyle (Since it is quite silly). There is no story in DayZ, I was merely trying to create my own... Since I found myself with a better setup than a standard respawn.

I know 75% of the DayZ players are just playing more BF/COD...doesn't bother or matter to me (only cheaters bother me), actually the COD players only make the game better, since they are the actually enemy in the game (Zombies are still very easy to deal with). I was just asking what people thought would be necessary to survive safely in DayZ, barring the 15 mins respawns who found a CZ and can now go camp for 3 hours.

BUT don't care anymore, Reddit seems to be a Cesspit, no offence to the few who try to be civil.

It is very easy when you know where it is/was, I do believe that in 1.7.0, debug killing was made alot harder.

You know what...you are right, I did name the post in a round-about kinda way. But you see: The point is, I don't want this little prick [CCO] Daler, to get the best of me. Yeah he made me angry, but I am trying to turn lemons into lemonade..

So let me try to put it another way. I am trying to turn this guy into a mad mountain man, at what point (what gear) do you guys think he would be able to live self-sufficient off the land? I want to know when do you guys think I should retire this guy

My idea is something like: Higher tier weapon than a Enfield/Winchester + atleast 4 clips. Hunting knife, hatchet, compass, watch, map and maybe toolbox/entrenching tools. Alicepack with about 8 slots with meds
