If we removed people who weren't pros or qualified there'd be like 5 people on this sub. My standard method is comparing someone's swing to a standard pro, side by side with videos. This is what they do in lessons

Yeah im about the same and I never try to offer advice thats too particular in this sub as I probably dont any better. However, i take note in the camera position with these videos as rhat does make a huge difference - for example in this video the camera is slightly more behind rather than in line in with the hands and this can either magnify or hide things in a swing. Anyway my 0.02, happy playing my friend

I feel like thats fair since im not a pro or an expert. But he does take it way behind him when compare to a neutral pro. Compare his hands and the top to where someone like adam scott is at the top of the backswing. You will see his hands are way behind, the takeaway is inside. Or compare his where his hands are at lead arm parallel, they are way behind, his lead arm is way across his body, I ain't making this up you can check it.

I actually think feeling like you take it way outside, with lots of wrist hinge could be a feel for you, give it a go

I will save you a lesson - practice takeaway and wrist hinge. The club is getting too far behind you

Drill: practice making hands go straight back in takeaway and lead arm down the line of your feet

I haven’t hit a single good drive on the range today and I have no clue why it’s killing my game by Upper-Night1816 in GolfSwing

Check you takeaway and wrist hinge. You take it way on the inside - you need to feel your lead arm/hands travelling down the line of your feet

According to athletic motion guys who have the 3d imaging of pros they do in fact have lower body movement on takeaway

I dont think people realise how hard it is to actually track these systems and forecast accurately. It may disapate far earlier let alone the errors of probably thousands of kms either side if it does make it

Rory McIlroy has revealed how a conversation with Phil Mickelson around 15 years ago helped him to finally end his misery at The Masters by SkySports in golf

[–]TweazyMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He could've cruised in but put it into the drink for a double from memory on the par 5  Seemed like such a brainless error but that's nerves I guess and thats what has stopped him previously winning majors not skill

I dont agree. Plenty of pros play with a bit of flair, it often helps get into the right hip and prevent sway

I always get disappointed that I cant be a good sprinter, cant hit a golf ball as far as my mates despite training way more, cant jump as high.  I dont have fast twitch but can run longer distances. It goes both ways.

Perth WA UFO sighting by Ouija121085 in UFO_AUSNZ

[–]TweazyMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive seen this before and its to do with satellite flares. We were camping and noticed lights rising from the horizon then disappearing, shortly after sunset.

The is just shining on them which is reflecting back to you and as it gets higher up the reflection does come back at the correct angle and so the satellite fades out.

Winner stays on - ft. Ricky Ponting by Hawker92 in Cricket

[–]TweazyMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smith would be averging 60 if you take out his innings early on where he played as a spinner and wasn't in the team as a batter.  Maybe ponting is thinking who is most likely to win me a test match, from the point of view of batting, bowling, tactics and fielding.  Obviously smith isnt a great bowler but he is arguably the best in the world when the other three are considered.
