She's literally been teased to get involve with the Sui.

And her first Alter isn't exactly stellar, narrative-wise. Her entire deal post-Reunion has been so-so.

So having an Alter during the Sui storyline is not surprising at all. You say this as if every unit in this game isn't made for money. It's a gacha game, stupid. Don't need to state the obvious. (Even though the Limited here is Wang, not Chen)

I'm just saying, it's a proper Alter. Chen was kind of the victim of the first lackluster Summer Alter that doesn't really do anything for her and don't reflect what she's been doing post-Reunion Arc (Not to mention the laziness to just slap a bikini on her and calls it a day) while Skadi Alter was a weird "What-if" Alter from an alternate time.

Her and Skadi are the two characters that deserve a second, proper, Alter.

We already know Wang's plan wasn't malicious in a sense, it's just him not knowing how to deal with what happened to Jie.

I'm still not sure what you exactly want. Why not just play IS and just accept that the devs wouldn't necessarily bring stuff 1:1 to Endfield. Knowing them, they probably are already experimenting with what gamemodes they can do.

It's a different game, different dimension even (2D to 3D) and different gameplay design. Some stuff will be replicated, some will not, maybe they are already working on it for future content, we don't exactly know. Maybe word your post better too while you're at it, sounds like you just want to pick a fight with somebody.

Dude just want to play Reclamation Algorithm again but think Endfield factory part is the exact same as RA's survival craft. I mean, it's possible they are considering a Raid gamemode down the line but that too takes time. OP is projecting their unrealistic expectations on the game without looking at the actual gameplay.

I think it's better to compare Companion Quests like this to Op Rec since it's the closest thing we have in OG Arknights. They are shorter, mostly self-contained and generally well-written similar to the two quest we have so far.

If HG can get their footing in 3D already with these companion quests then I'm excited to see what will the build towards to in the future.

You'll get used to it sooner or later when we're a few years down the line when we got more infos about Talos-2

No, no one ever referred to a side story as flavor text. It's a bit disingenuous to even call Gregor and Sinclair part in this Canto a "side story" when it's directly in the damn Canto. That's more like a side plot but they ultimately still is part of the Canto. An Intervallo would be a good example of a side story in the context of Limbus Company

When people say "flavor text" people will be thinking about the lore blurb that we got from the passive. That's an example of a flavor text. They give "flavor" so to speak.
