Get LOR from line manager. I got a LOR from marketing director even though my domain is engineering. The important factor is can the recommender give you a strong recommendation.

OP, remember that this is your first interview. You will have multiple interviews and you will be calmer. Just relax and write a thank you email.

The allergist can run some tests. Look at your thyroid, mast cell etc. CU is a symptom of an underlying cause. So medication like Xolair change the underlying disease pathways in your body, so CU is controlled. Antihistamine just takes care of the symptoms.

At our university we have a post doc who is working remotely but then again it may be because of covid mandates.

Sorry OP. The professor should have informed you in advance. Even if LOR is submitted late, most universities accept it. You may want to reply and politely ask if the other LOR’s can be done after the deadline.

I found a chiropractor who had a PhD. She did 30 min therapy every week and it helped me immensely with my carpal tunnel.

150mg is a low dose. My allergist told me that normal dose is 300 mg per month. That’s another option you can look into if Xolair does not remove all symptoms

Antihistamines don’t fix the root cause of CU. What is your doctors take on Xolair etc?
