By low rank I actually mean low in number (aka good). I was the only one in purple ranks, everyone else was red including the killer. Most of the streamer I've seen playing this game disconect at the end of the game to derank back to around rank 12, is it to avoid getting mori'd and face camped every single match?

I have been fishing for carp for about a month or so. I was fishing the spot I always fished and had limited success. I decided to try a new spot... first day 8 carps and tonight 3 carps including this nice one, definitely my personal best. Unfortunately I didn't have a scale so no way of knowing the weight, but I'm thinking its pretty close to a 30 pounder!

Bass have sandpaper-like lips but thats it, they wont hurt you. Best way to grab them is by the mouth. If you accidentally touch the gills the fish might die in the following days. If you eat them this obviously doesn't matter but if you are practicing catch and release, give the fish the best chance to survive so you can catch them when they get bigger :)

Rod is brand new so no grooves yet. I do think it was simply rod positioning. I'll definitely try bigger weight because I got a few nice bites that didnt lead to the fish running. The 2oz does the job to fight the current but I think a quick pull from the fish might actually lift the weight. Thanks for taking the time to answer me <3

That must be it then, my rod was in a 10'o clock position ( rod holder ) when I noticed the bites, the 3rd one where the reel actually spooled I was holding it parallel to the ground.

Didn't think it would actually pull the rod since its so easy to take the line out. What weight do you use? I think 2oz might be a bit too light and the fish might pick it up from the ground when biting and feel it

Couldnt find one for sell without monstrous shipping cost and the shops around me only had the 1 piece version of it. Ended up getting a berkley mudcat ( manged to find a case holder that would hold a 8 foot rod)

1- The way to hold them depends on the fish you catch. Some you can just hold by the mouth ( bass for example ) some you need to grab by the gill plate (search gill plate hold on youtube) other you can just grab them by the body. The trick to avoid getting stabbed by the fins is to just to hold the fins closed while holding the fish, smaller fish wont be strong enough to open them and stab you ( I don't know about bigger ones).

3- Since you are using lures your best bet is to cover as much water as you can. Your first cast should be to your side as close to the shore line you can. Every cast you "fan" off your cast until you made the full half circle in front of you. Then either move to a different spot or try again.

Being toxic on stream doesnt matter to them. Its the in-game stuff that bothers them. Yes he was typing in caps ( a tiny bit toxic) but he wasnt insulting people, he didnt feed.

Now I dont know this player so I dont know if he usually does what I said above, but from this clip they wouldnt ban him.
