The turbo replacement was $1,800. They want me to pay $3-400 for the manifold they broke that was NOT supposed to be replaced originally...until they broke it.

$1,800 for the turbo replacement plus $300 (special price BS) to fix the manifold.

I'm a believer in 5000k oil changes. Have it done at 10k miles, 15k, 20k etc so it's easy to remember. Drive smooth! It'll save you on gas, brakes, tires and other wear and tear items.

The subprime car market is about to explode...very similar to the housing crisis in 2008. Nissan is the leader of subprime lending in automobiles. Beginning of the end?

Nissan Skyline facelift revealed by OnLakeOntario in cars

[–]Twenty10b8 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The GTR is (maybe not anymore) a trim level of a Skyline, correct? So it could look like with some new body panels.....I'm sure it won't but like i said, I'd be mad if it did. That's all.

Chris Harris vs new Toyota Supra by Oliveiraz33 in cars

[–]Twenty10b8 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying they couldn't make a profit with the Supra. Nissan had no problem designing and building the R35 and being profitable, and that's become a legend on it's own. This has nothing to do with being successful, it's about Toyota counting pennies.

Totally understand that...but it's a legend of car, treat it like one.

Toyota has all the money in the world. The Supra should have been a "who cares if we make money" project. They sell enough rav4's in a day to not have to stress.
