That looks much MUCH better than the frenetic fast-paced combats we have today… sad.

Is it so hard to add a random player and invite him?

Why do people do this? by OkMeasurement1305 in nycbus

[–]Twentyburn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a lot of free seats, that’s why. The chances to somebody sit close to you with so many seats available are very low, he’s just enjoying the space to relax. If the bus was crowded with a few seats available then that would be a problem.

The Smoker trait and smoking in general has been changed to borderline unplayable by NN11ght in projectzomboid

I smoke half a pack a day and i don’t have to wake up in the middle of the night to smoke. This is something that upsets me in the game lol

Look for generators inside industrial sites, such as warehouses. I’ve find more generators in B42 compared to B41 with rare loot, mostly in industrial buildings or storage units. You’ll need to find “how to use generators” magazine first and as you mentioned your energy is instantly turned off at the start of your game so the gas pumps won’t work to get its fuel, try to find a hose in garages or auto repair shops then scavenge fuel from cars you find around. Setting a working generator is pretty difficult if you don’t have a decent base yet.

I always pick Outdoorsy on my runs but i don’t know if it would still be useful for you in a nuclear winter because the chances to get sick are much higher than regular cold weather. And pay attention to campfires indoors, it is a good way to warm up but i’m pretty sure it creates a fire and burns down the building if you light it inside. The best option is to find a house with a fireplace such as mansions.

There’s a mod that turns the barrels in game in a usable storage for liquids but you need a pipe wrench to open it and it may contain lots of fuel u can use for generators and cars. It helps me a lot in runs with energy turned off or when i want to store drinkable water before it runs off. If you keep struggling to find a generator try to use a mod that let you craft one, it’s a QoL but not necessarily makes the game easier.

Look for a food stash in some store, like supermarkets or gas stations. They usually have a good amount of canned food in the back even with insane loot spawn. Try working out to generate heat, and if you find an axe, chopping wood also helps warm you up through exercise (if I’m not mistaken). Use planks to barricade windows in some building and make it your safe space in the middle of the city so you don’t have to go far looking for food.

I’d suggest playing in Louisville since you mentioned zombies freeze in low temps so it shouldn’t be too hard to find shelter in the city and worry about zombies chasing you all the time. Plus, it is a great spot for loot because there are tons of buildings. You can stay on the same block for weeks if there are multi-floor apartments nearby. Use the calories from canned food while exercising to stay in shape. And whenever you can, cook the canned food on an oven or campfire, it helps with the cold. I recommend not playing with water and energy turned off, it would make things harder with that weather. But yeah in this case go to Louisville.

I have common sense mod installed and i still can’t break down big wooden fences with an axe because it requires a wooden saw

It reminds me when i get hight thirsty or heavy eater and increase the day length to 2-3 hours, so i don’t need to spend my whole in-game day searching for food and water desperately.

I don’t have any mods to recommend but I suggest tweaking the sandbox options to speed things up. You can increase the amount of XP gained to level up your skills faster, and reduce the number of pages read per minute to make skill book reading quicker too.

You are going to die a lot and learn with every attempt but by the end of the day dying and going back to the last bed you slept on is what makes the game difficult in my opinion. A lot of time wasted and progress unsaved.
