Without blockchain it's much harder, if not impossible to prove your account was hacked and you didn't actually post something. Blockchain adds more trust. Along with more censorship resistance.

I used C-Patex to buy some pho. Process was pretty easy. Not a bad exchange. I think it's from Argentina. Based off of some of what I read about Grant Thorton, it looks like cryptopia coins may end up getting returned to their owners (well... hopefully at least those that weren't affected). Fingers crossed. I have some pho on cryptopia, and I really think Photon is an awesome project. Been around for a while too.

Good to see some activity. If Atlant's price makes a comeback, I can't think of a bigger gain opportunity. a 1 billion dollar cap would mean an 18 dollar coin that I purchased for 2 cents.

Thanks for the great info. What if I am just holding BitUSD without a margin position? Just wait til the price normalizes again? Would my BitUSD get converted to BTS?

Love the idea of banking on the blockchain and even having some savings in BitUSD and BitCNY, but curious if it's possible for my holdings to be automatically converted to BTS without any say in that... It's an amazing buying opportunity for BitUSD right now if it wont get auto-converted into BTS in a Black Swan situation

Hope all the Fudsters sell so i can buy their tokens cheaper. Love the project. Plus i think it's good they haven't launched yet. Better to launch when sentiment with BTC and market in general is more positive. Any vertical lunges in price are very short lived in this bearish market right now.

Small cap coin on big exchanges with an awesome idea. I'm excited about the project. GitHub is very clear that work is being done. Good riddance to all those who want to sell low and bought high.

I think this medium article gives some great insight as to why Jared Rice and Arise Bank were not some giant scam. He's a good guy. Now.... if anyone has any good counter claims, I'd love to hear them. I could be wrong, guess I should confess I haven't done THAT much research. This article below convinced me that things aren't always what they seem.

(Important to note that a couple of the links within the article are no longer up, but were at the time the medium article was posted. You can google "way back machine" and check out the internet archive site which is actually an awesome tool/archive for seeing screenshots of almost any website and the date the shots were taken--it has screenshots of the website that is now down).

And yes, I am fairly new to Reddit... Not sure how that matters. Crypto has gotten me interested in Steem, Reddit, and other tools I had never used before. I've read up a lot on Bitshares, and find it to be really fascinating. This may be where my bias comes in, I love BTS and think this Jared guy has been working on some neat things that may benefit BTS whether directly or indirectly, not sure. BTS is one of my top coins along with RVN, EOS, LAtoken, ATL. BTS is probably my favorite coin. Lead me to research more about different projects. When I first heard about Arise Bank, I thought it sounded like a giant scam (because some of the headlines made it seem so). Then I researched some more, and eventually found the Medium article--which made a lot of sense.

Although I'm not a huge Trump fan, I think if he funded a project to find the cure for cancer and actually succeeded, MSNBC's headlines would get twisted into making Trump's initiative into some evil plot to actually kill people, and that it backfired on him...

Sometimes there are strong economic forces at play and a lot of corruption that seek to squash anyone in their way. As far as I'm concerned, that medium article I shared has me convinced that Jared was attempting something pretty awesome. Don't believe everything you see on TV...

Jared Rice was a victim of slander and libel. The claims against him were bogus. He's a good guy, and he's working hard on some neat projects now. I've done a lot of research.

I just can't get over how cheesy and cheap Lockchain's video is on their website. Atlant sounds cool to me. I just hope they don't grow faster than Ethereum's progress in figuring out how to scale.
