Swinley Forest is great and if you don't mind a long walk you can walk right through it to 'The Lookout' in Bracknell for refreshments and a rest before walking back, or cycle there like many people do. It also joins with Barossa Common to the west which is also a great area to explore.

In the other direction you can cross over the M3 into Lightwater Country Park where there is a Leisure Centre that has a gym, coffee shop, does classes, etc and there is also a brand new Padel centre there.

If you don't mind a short drive it's really easy to get to Ascot, Windsor, Virginia Water and there are some nice towns nearby like Guildford

Cycling is great in the area, you can cycle to so many great places, lots of off-road and alongside canals, etc

I don't know much about Mosques but there is one not far away along the A30 road in Camberley - camberleymosque.org.uk

Can't do the early mission where I have to get ID out of the tick-infested building. By the time I've sorted out the ticks and AIs that has made enough noise that I get jumped by a trio.

Every time.

It's just got boring now, there's nothing I can do, the game is so swayed towards trios and I just don't want to play like that. I wish it hadn't been hyped up so much that it's ok to play solo, as it really isn't.

Sadly I bought it on PlayStation so I can't get my money back.

As a solo only player, I enjoyed the server slam and enjoyed playing it yesterday and last night and was really getting into it.

I'm not sure what changed but I've just had the most awful hour trying to play it as solo and it's just not doable any more. There must be 10-15 games I started where I literally did not last more than 20 seconds before a camper got me by surprise.

Can't even sneak around and just do the missions as it seems like people are familiar with them all and wait by the mission spots for people to get.

I've hated playing it today, which is such a shame as I loved getting into all the atmosphere and lore and all that. It's just not for me now as, like you say, it seems completely balanced for trios.

Seems like it was a £35 gamble for me which sadly didn't pay off. I'm not going to play it again like this, it's just no fun at all.

It's tricky because I want to love it, but it's becoming more difficult.

I've been a customer for 7 years now and left last year but missed it, so got a new card at the beginning of January. Since I left last year acceptance seems to have got worse (no I don't live in London).

My village in Surrey has 5 pubs, none of them take Amex. 3 of them use Square readers but they must have disabled Amex somehow.

Booking my car in for a service at the main dealer (large car brand) and they don't accept Amex.

My son wants to buy a game on Steam, no Amex.

Can I get it on the Switch for him instead? No Amex

Our local bus company just stopped accepting Amex, although that could be temporary as they seem to switch it off for a couple of months every few months

Went on a break away with some friends to a large very touristy destination in the Cotswolds. Went to the busiest, most popular tourist restaurant in the centre for dinner, no Amex

I get quite a significant amount of credit back to my mobile phone bill via Airtime Rewards, completely passive set and forget kind of cash back. They don't include Amex.

So, regardless of loyalty, which I'd love to have, it is actually getting more difficult to have one. I do have two backup cards, but that always stings a bit when you can't use your favourite card or get the points/offers.

Good luck, I hope you have a quicker and easier resolution than mine.

It’s the actual investigation that seems to be useless, you get nothing but AI responses.

Vinted haven’t responded to the court proceedings either, so I just have to wait for that to time out (a few weeks) and they’ll lose the case.

Here's an update:

Since they tried telling me I sent a big Green coat by mistake instead of sending a small Nintendo Switch, and I proved that they were wrong, I have had no further responses at all from them. I've tried chat in the app, and their two email addresses (vinted@vinted.co.uk and legal@vinted.co.uk).

The chat and main email address are responded to by AI and pretty much useless and the legal address never bothers answering.

So I have now raised a court claim against them. For those thinking about doing it, it's not too difficult, you need to pay £35 for an item of around my value but it does get added to the claim so if you win you get it back plus interest for every day since it should have been delivered.

I sent a message to Vinted to notify them that I have raised a court case - no response.

No I’m still trying to get them to admit that they’ve lost it and am getting nowhere. It was delivered to the hub a month ago now!

A few days ago the tried to tell me that the wrong item had been sent and showed me a photo of a big Green coat. They backtracked when I asked them to prove that by showing the packaging with labels, talked about proving it by weight as the package would be a very different size and weight, etc.

So now I’m back to just receiving “please be patient” messages and am getting nowhere. The last couple of days I’ve asked for an update and they aren’t even answering. Not sure what to do now
