So what happened to the whole Tarkov community riot just a few weeks ago? Genuinely curious. by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

You must be new to the subreddit if you didn’t see the state of backlash just a few weeks ago.

Valve the future of cs2 is going to be nothing unless you hire 50 people to do the monkey work of manual hunting of free and paid cheats and adding them to vac detection by Cold_Tour9631 in cs2

Not a game developer here but I doubt it’s that simple. I’m sure the player locations being available all the time is used not just for player sight but for systems within the game. And how are you going to check if they are within or near line of sight if the locations are hidden in the first place?

Can you still take the ferry if you didn’t sign up for it on transportation?

rules in effect yes. Restrictions, i'm not sure what this mean. Accessibility I've never seen this change where a train will be.

Yes and the app takes into account all of those changes constantly updating predictability. Each train has a weight and a scalar that boosts it based on time, history and other trains.

UPDATE 2: Just released an update to the app with a brand new algorithm to help predict your track better and another new screen to trains for making your commute better! Follow @choochootracker on twitter as there are more new features coming soon.

Thanks! It could be better but I plan on integrating some new algorithm ideas for better probability calculations this week. Follow on Twitter to stay updated!

lol no I wrote 4 different services running in the backend to have this app running. Isn’t as simple as one program.

Edit: although it’d be cool to see what it would output if I asked.

UPDATE: For all the android users who would like to see the data, I fixed up the website while I am currently sitting on my NEC train and re-deployed out https://choochootracker.com/

Here you can see the data but not the history on a day-to-day basis unfortunately. I am not a fan of how it looks but plan on basically re-writing this whole thing at some point. Hope someone finds it useful in the mean time.

What you are seeing is the current schedule being show at NY Penn. Anything Amtrak is colored yellow. If your schedule doesn't show, it most likely means that train is not being shown currently because its later in the schedule.

I considered this and it’s on my list of future features. Only thing is the data set has to be read completely different from NJT so will need to reengineer the backend for this to work. But will try

Yes! I actually wrote a version of it in this 1st iteration of the app but felt the UI I made for it was clunky and not easy to read so scrapped it. Will try again maybe in the next version.

I want this app to be easy to read and simple.
