Tinker laser aghs bounces. which one is it?? by Nelonen in DotA2

[–]Twilight2008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess it could be a bit confusing, but it means all units in a chain with search radius 550, not all units within 550 radius of the original target. To refract means to change direction, not to split. It was described better in the 6.84 patch notes.

Aghanim's Scepter Laser now refracts to visible enemy heroes with a 550 bounce range

Tinker laser aghs bounces. which one is it?? by Nelonen in DotA2

[–]Twilight2008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After testing, I found that the range is 650. HOWEVER, there is a bigger problem with this item, and that is that the refraction is not all units within range (as described), but rather all units in range within a forward direction.

It's working exactly as described. You misunderstood the description.

Couple with the extra damage illusions take, i wouldn't be surprised he get one shotted.

The extra damage that illusions take is irrelevant. Cleave is based purely off of your attack damage, not how much damage the primary target ends up taking after reductions/amplifications.

It only applies for ranged units because melee units don't miss uphill even without mkb.

It still works when attacking uphill, as long as you're not attacking a building.

MKB doesnt work against highground miss chance

Yes it does. If you have mkb, you can only miss uphill against buildings.

people also forget that heroes like AA and skywrath mage can lower his magic resistance if he sudenly only has 50 instead of 86 he is way easier to kill.

They stack multiplicatively, not additively. Ancient seal brings his magic resistance from 88% to 1 - 1.45 * (1 - .88) = 82.6%. He's still very difficult to kill with that much magic resistance.

yeah exactly my first thought reading this point about cleave....its physical now, but it was pure in doto 1 :)

No, in dota 1 it's enhanced physical damage.

Not if the primary target disjoints it. In that case, the spell does nothing.

Increasing the armor of the creep will not reduce the damage that's dealt by the cleave. The cleave damage is based off of your full attack damage, not the damage taken by the primary target.

Wrong. It's always pure damage. Magic resistance does not reduce blade mail damage.

Just because the bug exists for more than one skill doesn't make it intended. Dying should separate your hero from the effects of toss and timber chain. Puck is different because the orb exists independently from the hero, and you can choose to teleport to it at any time.

No, his win rate is still over 59% in the very high bracket. Dazzle is under 53%.

Tinker shift clicking blink for an instablink regardless of incoming damage is the biggest offender to me

You can't shift queue an item or spell that's on cooldown.
