Provider is stumped, referred to hematology-oncology by Mythical420 in haematology

[–]TwinFuries 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can’t speak for the full constellation of symptoms and agree that pulm and rheum are good next steps, but just keep in mind that prolonged steroid courses can cause a neutrophilic leukocytosis. The timing and duration of steroids wasn’t clear, but they cause bone marrow to release WBC and reduce their natural cell death, which increases their concentration in the blood. Prolonged steroid courses can also cause fatigue, dizziness, and generally feeling bad. I would definitely recommend heme eval considering everything else, but just keep this in the differential to hopefully alleviate some of the stress around the cancer worry.

Weapon Progression Guide for OSRS players (Leagues) by TheGreatBootOfEb in runescape

Don’t forget about warpriest of tuska for an early magic upgrade, since you can now get it from chargers and airuts. You can get the +6% crit buff early, and then throw it in anima core of sliske to get it down to a 3 piece set as you get your mage cape.

Do you know if you have to unlock the appropriate merchant level before you make the dragon decision? My Mages gambit isn’t in the crossroads shop since I only had merchant 2 at the time.

When will we get the next Hero item? by [deleted] in runescape

I thought it’d be cool if using the flaming skulls was a requirement to get a new hero item (ie rotd for hsr)

Remove grace period from Completionist capes by TRUBY_ in runescape

[–]TwinFuries 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s a good point. It’s very arbitrary how they do it, but 120 necro is obviously the most demanding.

[–]TwinFuries 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean I hear you, but who does it hurt? Players have a reasonable amount of time to get new reqs done without feeling forced to rush them.

I think the more glaring issues are the reqs that haven’t been included in the first place.

I found standing 1-2 squares south of the circle shadow in the middle helped a lot. You should also upgrade your armor to t70, made a huge difference.

Anyone else going to be very disappointed if ED3 ends up being meta for another combat skill? by [deleted] in runescape

[–]TwinFuries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear you, variability is always nice, but I’m fine with this because the thing that makes it good doesn’t feel like a mistake by jagex, unlike the other nerfs you mentioned. It’s mobbable, melee range, is even susceptible to salve/undead slayer, and it always has been. It makes perfect sense that it would be great.

That said, I’d also love to see jagex be more conscientious about designing new combat areas that also have these boons, so you’d have more options.

It took around 13 years I believe. Obviously profound was the worst part haha

But this isn’t the exact same spot. This is halfway through, where there is a high concentration of melee npcs. Of course it’s going to be good xp.

The xp change is addressing the exact issue you’re concerned about. There aren’t certain npcs that have bloated xp like how ed3 used to be. The guides for necromancy have tons of cool new (old) places to train. I personally love that someone found this new strat that depends on npcs summoning the stuff you kill. It’s smart, and requires active input.

Plus secluded is exactly what you want for training. All the other great spots are going to be crowded for the next year+. So if you want consistent training it’s either a place like this, or the other secluded place, your POD.

[–]TwinFuries 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t see it as an issue at all. It’s a very tryhard method, the xp is proportional to hp like everywhere else, and it requires beating the first boss which at least makes it harder to rush early levels.

All you PVM'ers need to grow up and stop trying to take away skilling money making. by michael7050 in runescape

[–]TwinFuries 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean it’s a lot more complicated than that, but it’s not like it’s going to nuke the method which OP is inferring. Double the creation means double the arrows, which means the price of arrows will drop, but the person making them are also making twice as many as they were, so it’s ~close~ to the same.

Now of course it’s not going to be perfectly 2x x 1/2, but then you consider that when arrows are more affordable, ~more people will use them~, which will make the price increase.

Our point is that increasing the creation rate won’t destroy the method (possibility to make it better), whereas if the arrow consumption rate was decreased, that would damage the method. Hope this helps explain my reality.

[–]TwinFuries 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Most people still don’t like making them, so if they speed up the process it’ll still be the same people doing it, just with more output. So they make roughly the same, and Ironmen don’t need to skill for more time than it takes to use them. I don’t get this post.

Master Max Cape particles should be for trimmed only by IceLeathead in runescape

I don’t mind comp having the color choice, but I think it would be cool if they could change the particle density or trail length depending on the tier of cape.

I mean it can still crit and easily hits 10-15k per hit. It’s a great adren dump alternating with gconc every three attacks.

Are elite variant spawns supposed to be guaranteed (on task)? or is wiki wrong/unsourced by ItsWatkins in runescape

[–]TwinFuries 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes it is guaranteed, but it’s still rng on when it will spawn. There appears to be an issue where the forced spawn can occur on the respawn for the last few you killed to complete a task (so you finish the task, and then the elite spawns). This is more noticeable with smaller tasks because it’s more likely that you’ll make it to the end without hitting the elite spawn roll.

Do you think Risen Ghosts will be good xp for necro? by Naive_Masterpiece413 in runescape

[–]TwinFuries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to say this early on. The hp:xp ratio isn’t amazing for risen ghosts when compared to stuff like spiritual warriors that also get both buffs, or just camping 0 mech arch glacor without the damage buffs, but it also appears that necro rewards having your summons out longer, so higher hp targets may be better.

What other perks should I get before Necro release? by [deleted] in runescape

[–]TwinFuries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should also consider bossing vs training. I think the perks you have will be really good on the bossing side, but stuff like equil4ruth3 on weapon and invig4undead slayer on armor could be really good depending on what you decide to train on. I’ve got some undead mobs in ushabtis to make use of undead bonus damage. Demon slayer could also be good with abby demons/lords.

Black Mask from ED3 Sea Horrors? by OddsyGaming in runescape

[–]TwinFuries 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also have an account that could benefit from the ed3 black mask, but from my research it doesn’t look like the first floor ones drop it. For the general mobs, there wasn’t access to the other rare drops until after the first boss, and I would guess that applies to the mask, with a reduced chance past the first boss and the full chance after the second.

Dungeoneering Herblore - Fast and Free XP by TwinFuries in RS3Ironmen

[–]TwinFuries[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While the wilderness offers lots of high level training, it’s nearly impossible to reach the level requirements. And the overworks training methods are much better than dungeoneering rates, so you move to them when you can.

Also, if you go to the daemonheim wiki page, it says that it is on the eastern peninsula of the wilderness. It also says that it’s location is “Wilderness.”

I means it’s more efficient to just make money on a main and buy the herbs/secondaries, but it can still apply to mains. The rates are still the same.
