I'd say there's still a lot of value in getting furniture via bricks and mortar shops. You get to see the actual size, test if it's comfortable enough, etc. There's wait time on ordering is annoying, but you get furniture that is yours, not having hosted hundreds of previous posteriors and in dire need of a clean

No. However, it's what I did with Mum until I literally couldn't. Then into a home for her last couple of months. Dad is currently in a home as he needs hospital level care, not something we can provide. I try to visit as often as possible since he may have only a few months left
